According to one of the influencers on Instagram, the Thameen in Rivière so the same as the one in last year’s Harrods. She also thought the Lust in Paradise might be the extrait

Hopefully with the selfridges fragrance being their first it won't get snapped up by touts like harrods.
Definitely a good first offering. They did a pre Christmas fragrance edit last year which sold out quickly. Annoyingly the perfumes weren't in individual boxes and one broke spilling contents everywhere. I think I got £10 back as they had sold out.

So hope they've learned a lesson on packaging!

Just seen a video on FB showing spoilers of both Selfridges calendars and it said to join ‘Selfridges unlocked’ to be the first to know when they are released, so I have just joined 😃

BD thinks the lust in paradise is the extrait too. I think it is, the OG is in a clear bottle.

I like Riviere but I bought a back up bottle on Vinted so I'll deffo sell or gift that if I'm successful with buying it. I want to see what she's seen to make her think it's riviere.

I think the resellers will be all over this. Since I looked into it on insta, there's been loads of reselling accounts come up, they basically tell resellers what the best things to buy for profit are. I thought it was just one account but different ones are being suggested to me with people bragging how much they've made on the Harrods calendar. Gets me all angry! 🤣 I hope people cancel their eBay orders 🤣 hopefully Selfridge's will put a limit on how many can be bought.

Do you think the Selfridges FAC will also be available instore? I'd be tempted to camp out at my local one if they keep some back for instore sales.

I have just googled the limits for Selfridges and for the Jellycats it was 3 per person . So I am guessing it may be similar for the advent.
Definitely not cancelling Harrods though as knowing my luck I will fail at getting the Selfridges one and end up with nothing. I also think there is always a resale value for Harrods . Ultimately it is still a great value advent from Harrods even if Selfridges is now matching it

I expect resellers to be all over this, they ruin everything. Im not sure what policy Selfridges have for shipping fragrances abroad so hopefully that will put a few people off. It's still going to be a battle though, I'll be glued to my notifications till it drops 😅

@JoRaRaRa I agree , this is the first one in the running for me . And one BAC you say 🧐 ahhhh I think we know you would be the first to admit that is never going to happen 😂😂😂

They definitely haven't shipped the BAC to the EU previously so I assume they won't be shipping here.

According to their website almost everything can be shipped internationally although they also say food and beauty can't be shipped to the EU and:

DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS
There are some products that are unavailable for International Delivery. This can be due to reasons such as legal restrictions, warranties or logistical limitations that prevent us from sending products outside of the UK. This affects products such as technology, fragrance (delivered outside of Europe), aerosols and fresh produce. If we cannot sell a product using International Delivery we will always show you on the product page.

So god knows whether they will ship the FAC internationally😁

Edited to say: I just added some perfume to my basket and it looks like it does ship to the EU so no idea. I'm now wondering whether to download the app😁

Brown Thomas are owned by Selfridges, I wonder what will they do this year? They have massively increased thier fragrance game last few years.

Interesting. It would be great if they stocked the Selfridges advents but that is pretty unlikely I'm sure.

They have not historically bit did improve their own greatly. They could come up with some edit if not fragrance advent I hope

I like the selfridges BAC as well 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m not cancelling my Harrods FAC two years of waiting for this bad boy ! But oh lord I’m feeling FOMO before the FBAC has even gone out . I can’t justify spending this much money . And I promised myself after getting the Harrods ( hopefully if it arrives) that unless a BAC absolutely hits the mark I will wait for the edits as those were good last Christmas . Crackers extra . I am so hoping that the men’s BAC at Liberty is good then I can use my credit and step away . I can enjoy vicariously your joy at the selfridges FBAC . This is my mantra 😌🧘🏻‍♀️

I think Brown Thomas had one of the best calendars last year so maybe if the Selfridges fragrance one goes well, it's something they'll do in future? I might need to sweet talk my Irish friends if they do 😂

It definitely was good but the makeup didn't suit me so I didn't try for it.

Hopefully. Being able to get in to a shop and try the fragrances would be great as I bought the Harrods one blind.

My DP has mentioned funding the Selfridges FAC if I can get it. It's made me even more determined 💪

I have just casually mentioned it to my DH and he kind of agreed with me when I said that it probably makes economic sense for me to buy the calendar rather than try to pick up the ones I like from Vinted. This has made me more determined to get it! 😁
