I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

I'm quite relieved that a new one is set up before the Harrods goes on sale... Phew!!

Thanks. I appreciate the effort. We just need to co-ordinate a bit earlier ahead of thread 3 if someone else wants to set one up. I left it a bit late to ask if anyone wanted to do it.

I'm quite relieved I can strike out JL. I'm not one to deny myself but I am hoping for a leaner year on the buying front.

I notice Boots have announced the Frag advent officially. It will be 12 days and £90. I'm anticipating designer scents and dabbers so hopefully I will not covet that one.

I’m marked safe from JL too, doesn’t appeal at all.

Agree that at £90, the Boots fragrance will likely have lots of dabbers of designer fragrances, plus some body sprays (probably SDJ).

I think this years John Lewis advent is better curated than last year which had lots of hair oil, lip oil, lip balms and eye creams in it. I think it would make quite a nice gift for someone who hasn't had an advent calendar before.

For myself I think last years design was better and I have tried some of the products already. I'm going to look into the foreo products a bit more but to me it's not the most appealing at first glance.

Thanks @OvaHere, sorry have only just caught up. John Lewis definitely not for me, glad they’ve revealed early as know I don’t want it. Agree with pp, last year and previous years were maybes for me, this one is a definite no!

Ooo the tatcha calendar looks cute again 😍 I have just opened the 2025 one though and sold off half of it, so unless we can get this half price in Jan again, I won't be buying. But I can admire...

JL separate frag advent

Thanks for the new thread @OvaHere. JL is a definite no for me but I might consider it for DS gf. I bought her ASOS calendar last year which was her first AC so this might be a nice step up. I’ve already preordered liberty for myself but patiently waiting for SNK to reveal.

Guess that explains where all the scents went in the BAC.

Now this I want!
