I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

Signed up. I regretted not getting this last year. It always seems like great value.

I think that’s a common misconception. Olive is the skin tone (overtone). However different skin tones can have a cool, neutral or warm undertone.

As a cool olive I find it hard to get a concealer or foundation to match my skin tone.

The William Morris one is a beautiful box. I wouldn't get it personally, but at £45 I reckon it would make a lovely gift. Sold put already at Hart's of Stur, but in stock at JL

Lovvve the Debenhams box!

I had LF last year and thought it was very good for the price. Not as exciting at Liberty, Harrods or F&M but had some nice products and a good mix. I enjoyed it. Cost me less than £100 with points.

Agree about the lipstick shades. I’m a pink/nude girl as I look like Cruella de Vil in darks/reds.

Also agree about the lipstick shades, I'm not a fan of the darker ones.

As I prefer a more balm/tint effect, I have had some success with darker lipsticks just dabbing them on lightly, and covering/mixing with a clear balm. Some of them can give a nice flush of colour without appearing so dark this way.

I am getting a bit fed up with all the waitlist announcements now (not on this thread! just in general) - give me deeeeetails on contents please companies 😂

I came on to post the same! I’m sick of these waitlists, especially when I’m sure I signed up for most of them at the end of last AC season. Just give us the reveals!

And me 🤣. I’m waiting for their reveal, after the detective work from @JoRaRaRa and @MrsBnow12I'm really interested!! Like others, im not sure about the Cult make up offerings but im much more about the skin care so Harrods is no 1 at the moment, but I’ve got enough Beauty Drop for Liberty so that also still an option and sell the perfumes! Maybe both! I’m just about to start the AB retinol from last years Liberty, what did everyone think of that?

I hate how much I love the AB retinol. It's fantastic on my skin - but so expensive. I'm using Medik8 at the minute, which is fine, but missing that something extra compared to the AB one.

Harrods is top of the list for me at the minute, but really intrigued to see what's in SNK and a few others.

I also love the AB retinol. I bought one on Vinted recently that was unused but had obviously gone off when I opened it. So be wary of that and try to stock up during advent season when they've more clearly come from a recent BAC. I have quite a few Medik8 ones to use but am hoping one will be in a calendar.

I really like the AB eye cream. I also have the mz skin and would say that they're both equally brilliant 🤩

I do also like the AB eye cream. I've not tried the MZ skin eye cream to compare, but would like to! I really rate the MZ skin microtox eye serum, hence leaning towards the Harrods calendar - the cost of it goes a long way towards the total calendar cost 😅

That's great but tbh I'd be relying on people here given how late the notification went out to a lot of people.
