I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

2nd September seems to come up on sites like beauty detective but it felt later to me. I have to say last years contents were wonderful. I’m not sure how I missed that. I could have got an extra beauty advent under the disguise it was for DH who would only be interested in the aftershave. I will keep a close eye on the contents of this years!

Did anyone else just get a notification from Harrod's saying 'It's here" and panic only to realise they are talking about the 10% off? I don't even want the damn FAC but I'm still on high alert it seems 😂

Yes to the Harrods notifications, I keep having mini panic attacks 🤣 but I'm glad I'm getting them now. I wonder if we'll actually get notified that they've gone on sale though.

thanks - probably another month to wait them. I bought the main Liberty calendar again last year and then really regretted it when the men’s one was released. I much preferred the look of the contents in the men’s box, and the box itself.

I also got another notification from Harrods and my heart started racing! 😆

I see they are advising people to download the app to find out when the calendar launches this year rather than giving a date. I worry that this will lead to loads more people being on the app ready to leap on it than last year. 🥺

My notification has only just come through 1.5 hours later! Clearly they don’t send out all the messages at the same time I think the only reliable source of the advent releases will be here!
Unless I get caught up in the frenzy I don’t think I’m going for the fragrance one anyway because I just have too many bottles already. At one point I was tempted to get it and put it away for next year but I have had a conversation with myself.

I admire your strength. I also have far too many fragrances, some I haven’t even started, but I know I will try to grab the calendar despite really really not needing it or knowing if I will like the fragrances! 😐

Think what else you could do with the money. I’ve found restraint much easier since I realised I was motivated less by genuine desire than FOMO. I’m buying a beautiful cashmere jumper with the money I had earmarked for the Liberty calendar.

I should probably do the same if I'm being honest with myself. I counted up the bottles of perfume I had last night and it was worryingly close to three figures and that's not including samples. I need to start gifting my least favourite ones really. I still want the Harrods AC though, just once at least.

This is my worry, what if my notification is much later and it's sold out by the time I get it?! A bit similar to the recent CB Sali Hughes set. I think that'll be the complaint this year 🙈🤣 I have Monday off work, so I'm just going be refreshing the Harrods website all day. Hopefully it's listed early so I can buy and then do something with my day off.

I think I'll be even more gutted if I waste my day off on Monday refreshing Harrods website, it doesn't go on sale all day and when it does go on sale, I miss it 🤣🤣

I'm off monday but have a heavy day on tuesday, including 2-3 hours when I will be completely offline. Monday definitely works better for me.

I'm a bit disappointed that the night cream is so teeny tiny! I'd have been happy with one less eye product and more night cream.

I don't think there's enough I really want in it to push me into buying this year. We'll see I guess. I might try pick up the odd item on Vinted.

I’m really excited about the contents of this. Apart from PK which just drys out my hair and the eye lash curlers (just why) I can’t see a single product that I wouldn’t use and even more exciting is the number of products that I just haven’t tried which saying the amount of edits I buy is quite a surprise. I will def be buying this on Monday (hopefully) and the hair and body one which also works for me.

I like Harrods more now I’ve had another look. Although the lipsticks/ hourglass I’ll sell, The skincare makes it otherwise good for me.
So maybe this or SNK but likely both.
But I must not get the January Tatcha deal. Definitely not..

Oh that is disappointing that the night cream is only 10ml, I was hoping for at least 15ml. 😞 I feel the same as you in that I would have preferred one less eye cream and a decent sized night cream. Seems strange to put 3 expensive eye creams in. I will still probably go for it though.

Yep, I think I'll probably end up getting it too, unless Spacenk is amazing. Or I might just get both 🤣

I could tell that the pot was small but hoped it was at least 15ml too. The valmont mask has been changed from 15ml to 50ml, I did think it was full size, I was comparing the photo with the pot I still have at home 🤣

Oh I hadn’t noticed that the Valmont mask had changed to full sized - that’s good! It is a pricey product

I actually like both Harrods and JL’s a/cs much better than their 2025 efforts. The calendar I like best so far- based on reveals - is Harrods by a large margin.
