I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

i’m not fussed on the JL calendar …the fragrance one looks good and curious about the boots fragrance one too (like i dont have enough perfume 🤪) ….I always buy the harrods beauty one but may pass this year too …waiting to see what space nk comes up with ….and if that doesn’t wow i may go all out on the diptyque one (which i’ve never had before but have lusted after)

I’m only just catching up after a long and busy day in work - I’ve missed so much!
The JL FAC I’m not sure about, initially it was a definite no, but I’ll see if I can test the fragrances whilst I’m out and about this weekend. It’s definitely a great price!

I also nearly had a heart attack when I received not 1 but 2 notifications from Harrods today! They really are toying with us 😅

Thank you @JoRaRaRa for the JL BAC details, I was excited to see their offerings this year (despite still having last years unopened 🙈😅). I do actually like it. I just don’t know if there’s enough to justify the increased cost again (when I bought it 2 years ago it was £195, then last year I think £220). I think it’s a shame because I was able to justify it as a cheap-ish extra but at £250 I’m not sure it really qualifies. I may still cave because like I say I do like it, and I do feel a bit of loyalty to JL. We’ll see.

Also to add that I like the colour ways of the HN calendars, but wish they had gone for a different design for the beauty one. I’m not cultured enough to appreciate it and it just irritated me last year 😅

Did everyone’s Harrods notification say 10% off until Monday? Mine says Sunday

Harvey N fragrance says this year it will have 4 full size bottles this year and 16 fragrances in total.

Last year there were 18 fragrances all 10ml and under plus a car fragrance and mini candle.

Value is the same - £700. Depending on what they are I think this year is a preferable spread. I'm going on the assumption full size is min 30ml.

Haevey Nichol's count some 10mls as full size, like liberty so too. Couple of 30ml would be nice

I hope they're good full sizes and something different 🤞🏻I wouldn't mind a nice candle again, although I've yet to burn the one from the snk calendar.

I’m looking at JL in more detail and I think it’s actually quite good and there’s a lot I’d use. It’s just not exciting 😂

They do that if the 10ml is already available for sale. Let's say BDK sell 10ml sprays, and Nichane don't. Look at the listing of liberty scent kit! It does but make sense to me at but I have seen it

Yep, I have seen that too. I think someone classed a 6ml matiere premiere bottle as full size. Retailers do it with creams and lotions too, what we would say is travel size, they class as full size because it's sold in that size. It will be disappointing though if that's what HN do.

Me of 2-3 years ago would find it exciting but that's a me problem. I'm a bit spoilt now. I think it's a decent offering for the non spoilt who walk amongst us. 😜

I think I might struggle a bit this year to find a box ticker. That's a good thing though as I was ridiculous last year. So if I just end up buying Harrods FAC and SNK I'll be very proud of myself.

I’m desperately waiting on Space NK! Can’t remember when they released details last year, hopefully something will be out soon.

19th August it was revealed last year. They did a live reveal. I hope they do that again.
