Dropping by to bookmark this thread. Just haven't had time for admiring summer frocks. I hope there are still some left when I'm less preoccupied.

I was at a graduation day yesterday in Leeds. Was wonderful to see so many people dressed up and a lot of hats. It was like being at the races. I fell in love with a Dior clutch bag one graduate was carrying and quite a few beautiful shoes. The fashion graduates were wearing full skirted tea dresses, some floral, some block colour. Just like my mother and the late royals wore in the fifties.

I've found an account on Instagram called "Sciuraglam "mature Italian women who just look so put together and elegant. The word sciura means lady btw. It's such fun.

I know this is outside the scope of this thread but loved this photo of Haaland returning home - the glasses, the jacket, the bag and then ... the stuffed raccoon! Perfect.

OH that's so Texan @Pallisers . Have to admit to loving his bag too. That's what I call a weekend bag. I'd love to know where it's from.

Oh my goodness. That's a real raccoon, or to be more specific, it used to be a real raccoon. I have a cousin who used to work for a taxidermist (Georgia, not Texas). Most of the work was for hunting trophies, deer heads and such. I had no idea that people had raccoons mounted.

The bag is nice. Evidently, it is Dolce & Gabbana men's 2027 collection.

Anne is in South Korea. I love that the fact her quiff gets ever larger! Nice jacket, I like the open neck look, and the pearls.

Now she's meeting K-Pop royalty! The outfit looks silk, I quite like the colours.

I love Anne's jacket in the war grave photos.
Her whole outfit looks good bar the shoes but I don't expect her to be wearing skyscraper heels.
I'd love to know which items are rewears & from what years.
Anne really does have the most interesting & exciting wardrobe.

It won't happen but I'd love Anne to write an 'in her own words' memoir of the places she's been, the people she's met, her experiences/refections as a working Royal for so many years, and her responses to what's been reported in the press. It would be a fascinating read.

She's certainly had a very full life and travelled widely.

K Pop. If her granddaughter's are anything like mine they'll want granny to bring home souvenirs.

It's notable for the extraordinary name of the Countess. Do you think all those names go on your driving licence? Anyway, she looks very pretty in the satin corset dress, sadly no tiara. The groom has gone for a very cheerful rainbow look. Lovely pictures all round.

Opinions vary, although I really hate the word "dowdy" applied to women.

I'm going to guess that that jacket is from the 1990s at the latest - checked silk dupion was quite a Thing for a while then.

Sophie in an interesting dress. I quite like the cape sleeves but I think the pattern is a bit strong and overwhelming.

Sophie has 70's caftan vibes going on, but i think I quite like it.
