I think it might be because the sleeve isn’t fitted so it almost looks like she has two different outfits on at the same time. Or she has started to put a coat on. Hard to explain 🤷‍♀️

I agree the sleeve is not right on the grey dress, it maybe the combination with the boat neckline that doesn’t work.

Love Charlene's beaded mini-cape black dress - that's what I call serious glamour. Quite surprised it's Jenny Packham, as her stuff is rarely to my taste. But when it comes to embellishments I'll take beads over sparkles, sequins or glitter every time…

It is a surprise that's Erdem! I think it looks lovely, although I've noticed that she's not had the cape front, but flutter sleeves instead. Both work.

Charlene isn't putting a foot wrong at the moment. I like the Erdem (sorry!) and love the Jenny Packham dress from last week.

(It does look familiar @justasking111 but apparently it's a new collection so unlikely to have been seen on another royal. I wondered if it's similar to something that Zara's worn?)

Glorious insect print on that dress. I'm not very keen on generic wildlife prints, but I'm a sucker for fabrics where the designer has taken the trouble to depict specific species in some detail and with a care for entomological accuracy. Like the design of the dress too - nice neckline and sleeves.

I'm thinking that the dress was at an awards ceremony worn by an actress. Sometimes they get pre sale garments. I thought it was gorgeous then.

Didn't Camilla wear something with insects on a while back. I recall liking that too.
