I think I'll have to do what my mum does with her AC and put everything back into the drawers and store it until I'm ready for it 🤣 I think I have enough stuff to last me until next Christmas. Although my mum tends to put it away to store and then continue buying her Elemis, until I tell her off 🤪

I received my LiB Sun Smart edit today. I'm very happy with it for £48.75 (using code SUNNY25). I'm not on TikTok, but I know a few other purchased it for £50 there and had a freebie edit thrown in.

The Guinot thermal bag is good, and everything fits inside it nicely 😊

Helllloooo. This is the only thread on beauty I follow now. I can’t keep up with AC threads and scent threads as well 🫠. And my own very quiet slow thread for full size purchases 🤣

I really don’t like the Soap & Glory stuff I bought. Cleansing balm, cleansing toner and exfoliating toner. I don’t like the texture of the balm and I don’t like the smell of the toners. So I don’t know about performance and skin results but I just really don’t enjoy putting them on my face. The Glow Recipe watermelon toner is such a joy and I love the smell.

I went to the Westman Atelier event at Liberty on Thursday. It was amazing. Only ten people in each session. We came in, they gave us slippers and then sat on yoga mats with lots of blankets, and a gold tray with all the products on, blueberries and a can of water. Cleansed our faces, put the The Light Salon red light masks on, lay down and had a 20min sound bath. Then went through the different products they have - an exfoliating serum, skin activator serum, eye activator serum and a vitamin c gel oil type serum. The skin activator comes in either a pump bottle or a bottle where you can attach a roller ball. The roller ball was put in cold water and then we used it to apply the serum to our face using lymphatic drainage techniques. It was so nice. My skin looked amazing the next day. I’d say it was worth £50 as an experience on its own, we also received a mini mascara, highlighter and a tinted lip balm. And got to take the satin eye mask home. The £50 was redeemable and I bought the exfoliating serum. I’ve never used WA before, just dismissed it as a fad brand the same way I did with Glow Recipe. Anything that I feel is over-advertised I tend to ignore - I tend to have more trust for Reome, Lisa Eldridge, things that aren’t promo’d that much though they obviously must advertise. It made me wonder how these £££ edits and ACs really help us or the brands if we don’t know how to use them. We were given a lot of detail on the products, how they work, how much to use, how often (which I tend to ignore if written on the side), they explained why to use only a tiny bit.

Will leave it there as I’ve written so much already! I would buy all the Westman Atelier skincare products now but it is SO pricey.

Same here on a no spend until advent now . Was tempted by the Harrods but ultimately none of the fragrance appealed enough and no energy to sell on vinted/ebay but excited to hear what you all think of the fragrances .
Still gutted the liberty holiday haul sold out before advent release as would have used my credit on this but least I have the beauty drop box to look forward to
I see latest in beauty have some more boxes out but it looks like similar items that have appeared in other boxes and the usual high prices which will eventually drop to something remotely reasonable through discount codes /on tik tok
The LIB sun edit looks nice @keepincool I might have been tempted if I wasn't already under pressure to use all my suncream by expiry already

That sounds like a really fab event and loved the details . I really agree I need to spend more time looking at what I’ve got and how to use it effectively . The roller ball in cold water sounds so good especially as it heats up again !

It was just right up my street @SunnyPinkMoose . I love a bit of yoga nidra and a sound bath, red light therapy and lymphatic drainage massage.

@keepincool thank you, the event was focused on skincare so didn’t try their makeup products though did get to take the mini highlighter and lip balm and mascara home.

@BakeOffRewatch - thanks so much for the review - the event sounds lovely and I wish I had gone now!

Speaking of events: I keep forgetting I am booked into the JL event on 17/7 - 🤞 I don’t forget!
