Might see if I can pick up a mini so that I can see properly what its staying power is. I find these days that perfumes just don't last (can't remember the proper term) and I hanker for the old days.

Found some Calvin Klein Obsession in the drawer t'other day and goodness, that stuff lasts! Still there when I had a shower the next morning. Pity it's not one to wear out in the world these days.

@BurningTheToast ime, TF perfumes have serious staying power. My only problem is that they have TWICE discontinued the (main brand, not niche or limited) products I fell in love with. Noir / Noir extreme for women is no longer available (the male version is not the same) and my absolute first ever true (perfume) love, Sahara Noir, went the same way about ten years ago. I liked Tabacco Oud but it was too heavy for me, will definitely check out the Vanille!

My mother used to wear Estée Lauder Youth Dew.

You could still smell it 10 years later and two counties away. I think it would survive a nuclear apocalypse 🤣

That was my first perfume, give to me by my Nan. Omg that stuff lasted and everyone knew you were wearing it. Swear it smelt like creosote on me too.

I still have a bottle of Sahara Noir, wear it every now and then and mourn it being discontinued every time..

My favouritest ever. It was my signature scent. I’ve had men ask for my number after noticing me walk past in a bar.

But that was in the 90s and I think it might seem horribly passe. And I don’t especially want to be chatted up. And it’s way too strong for today - it was okay at the time, that was the era of Poison!

Obsession and every boy in sixth form drenched in YSL Jazz.

I’d forgotten the horror that was Jazz. Remember Insignia - also popular with teenage boys?

I also wore - and still wear - Diorissimo. Jilly Cooper was my influencer on that front. It’s not what it was either.

My first perfume was anais anais, next up was Lou Lou, then Paloma picssso. Good times !

Thanks @BakeOffRewatch I quite like the sound of the Ilia gwp but it's available instore all week and online for only one day. Which I suppose is better than the GA gwp being instore only.

I get they want to encourage people to the store but loads of Beauty Drop members live nowhere near London and can't just visit at short notice.

This has been my experience as well. I started selling on Vinted last month and I’ve already sold 90 items, a lot of which had been sitting on eBay for ages!

Last year they’ve released a scent edit during beauty drop week, am hoping for the same this year 🤞🤞

Not keepincool but I have also been using the Rejuran Ampoule. I really like it. 4 drops is enough for face and neck. I use it morning and one evenings when I’m not using a retinol or other serum. Maybe 4 evenings a week.

It goes on easily and absorbs and I like the prep it gives me for the next thing.

My Skin is looking pretty good at the moment!

well, that’s what I do! Toner, serum, actives (if using), moisturiser.

Yes that’s right - thinner to thicker - toner is the thinnest, then serums, then moisturiser to lock in.

Is anyone else using the VFR Boum Boum Milk from the recent Liberty kit?

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now as a spray after cleansing. I do quite like it but it goes down quickly. I think the smaller size will only last another 2-3 weeks.

Despite liking it there's a bit of a question mark as to how useful it is as a product. I do use sprays after cleansing but generally much cheaper ones just for a bit of re hydration.

The large Sisleya lotion in the Liberty advent seems to serve the same purpose just in lotion form. It's one of the products that appeals from the BAC but if I'm going to have that step I prefer a spray. Still curious to try it if I decide to buy the BAC.

I had a sample tube of the Sisley Ecological Compound a while back and used it the same way. I really liked that too but again I wondered whether it really had much of a purpose.
