Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

I like the look of this box. F&M was my first bc and the only reason I never repurchased was I wasn’t keen on Cult51 and they put the night and day cream in which took away a lot of the value. However, they haven’t even mentioned this brand in the blurb so watch this space as this could be another contender. 🙈

I have just seen the F&M wait list pop up on my FB. The box does look very pretty

I had F&M once - it appealed because the box is always beautiful and I love bath stuff, skincare, candles and fragrance, of which there's usually a fair amount. From what I remember, the only DoD was an F&M branded hand sanitiser, but I think this was 2021.

Paulina from random lifestyle vlog has done a breakdown of all the fragrances in the Harrods FAC. She said that although there are fewer 50ml fragrances this year, the value of the fragrances included is actually higher than last year.

It looks on paper that it would be less value. Hopefully the people who have said no to it won't see that and change their minds 🤣 I'm hoping they've upped the quantity this year but demand has reduced 🤭

I am very much hoping they are not relying on Cult 51,this year. I had the F&M calendar in 2024 andI felt ithis brand was a like Avant - all hype. I actually think Avant is better…

I won’t be signing up for Charlotte Tilbury or any other twelve day calendars. I will only buy 24/25 day ACs and I’m not keen on single brand ones either.

What are our predictions for the date Harrods calendars will be available to order? I am thinking maybe Monday 3rd August. Think it was the first Monday in August last year. 🤔

I keep randomly checking just in case but I suspect you are right.

They have been very quiet so far on a possible release date. Last year they were saying it would be the first Tuesday in August and it then became available a day earlier on the app and sold out in a few hours, leading to lots of frustrated people.

Was it midnight the night before or some time in the morning do you remember? That's a bank holiday here so I won't be up as early as if it was a work day.

It was late morning if I remember correctly. Think I ordered mine around 11am ish.

Any tips? Do I need to buy it on the app or can I get it on the website? I have joined the rewards club and put my address in to my account details. I've also joined MyBeauty. I've set communications so I get emails for beauty stuff but I don't think I've ever received anything from them.

Last year you could only order on the app on the Monday and by the time it was released on the website, it had sold out! Therefore it is definitely wise to have the app downloaded.
Keep checking this thread is my advice, as I wouldn’t have known the calendar had become available had I not seen a post on here telling us it was available to order. It was the first year I had managed to get my hands on it. 😃

I do too! I’ve never had F&M and most of these brands are new to me. I’ve not liked any Granado I’ve had but looks like they only sell the soap so that may not be too bad. A definite maybe for me too pending full reveal! I like the fact most are full size as well.

It was either two or three years ago when it went on sale at about 1 am. I can remember checking the app at about midnight, and then it was available when I went to bed about an hour later.
