Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

I don't know how well this will work out but thanks in advance to everyone who helps out.

I’m so happy I managed to buy the box on vinted 😍. I love it so much.

I think I’ve spent £232 on my calendar so far (yikes!) but it is all full sizes bar three items and is all stuff I either know I love (like the Bioeffect egf serum) or have been wanting to try (like a Sisley eye cream). That total also includes the full cost of edits that I’ve bought and not put all items in the calendar so not too bad…desperately trying to justify it to myself!

Yes!! Maybe we can organise a day trip this year 😂😂

That’s great that you managed to curate your own, plus extras from the edits, for that price.
Realistically, I bet we could all make our own BAC/FAC using what we already have. Now I think about it, I wish I had the willpower to do this, but I know after last year that it won’t happen.

I am trying to be good and use up my opened stuff though. Tonight I’ve used BoJ face mask and gone back to the Zelens melatonin.
I am also consciously checking everything for expiry dates so I can make sure I use things up in order. Which sadly means that my 2 Bioeffect serums will remain untouched for some time despite me desperately wanting to try this.

I remember this, we're we going to be the real housewives of mumsnet?

Also I would go on that trip, been to Brown Thomas once with my mum when I was about 17 and still remember it X

Oh yes, I remember buying a Hermes bracelet in there years ago. The ladies that worked there were lovely.

Its just dawned on my that if dont get a BAC this year I'll miss out on an opening thread! Last year was my first time joining one. It was for Liberty and I really enjoyed it every day in December.
I've already ruled out Liberty BAC this year plus spent half my credit on the scent edit now but if SNK is a good one, I might ne tempted. I did plan to focus on fragrance advents (and I will) but the BACs do have that added fun of being a shared experience.

Totally agree, we all need at least one bac so we can be involved in opening threads (that's 1 of each 🤪)

I’ve just had an invite to pre-order my Liberty AC so that’s paid and done with . One down one to go although I think Diptique is quiet until October ish .

I guess we need to pace ourselves. They'll start coming in fast from the beginning of August. Does feel painfully slow right now.

I think we had like 4 in one day last year. I do like the thought of them being spaced out. It's strange how Harrods released their contents so far in advance.

Yes I seem to remember getting several reveals at the beginning of August last year, and then lots of them being available to order from 1st September. Whereas Harrods was available to order from the first week of August.

I’m sure Harrods have revealed their calendar contents quite a bit earlier than last year so wonder if others will also do earlier reveals. 🤔 JL never used to reveal their calendar contents until the release at the beginning of October but it was late August last year.
Can’t be too long now before the next big reveal! 😃

Oooo yes F&M! This is one of my favourites, when I last had it, I used everything. Think this is normally a mid August reveal

My DSis gets me a BAC every Christmas. F&M was the first one she gave me and it started my expensive beauty calendar and edits journey. Last year was Liberty and this year she's aiming to get me the Harrods BAC.

If the F&M one is good I may get it for myself - but I'm also pondering the Jo Loves calendar.
