Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

Same here. Looks like it’s out of stock but I expect this has happened due to a surge and some more stock will be released later. However, I have decided I am absolutely not going to be sensible with beauty advent calendars, so far I NEED 4/4 of the ones with contents revealed. Therefore, I absolutely do need to be sensible now.

Hi. I'm new here. I was told this is the place to go for information on advents. I'm hoping to get the Harrods Fragrance one this year. I've dowloaded the app and signed up to the rewards thing. I'm hoping they will ship to Ireland this year and that it's not marked up insanely.

I'm not sure if anyone has inside info - best to keep checking here as I think someone was able to let everyone know that the Harrods calendar had been released a day earlier than expected last year.

Thank you @LightandBreezy I’m not familiar with a lot of them but I’m willing to take a punt.

Hope you get to have the biggest ceiling grazing Christmas tree this year, along with at least a dozen advent calendars.

It is priced at £225 this year apparently so a £10 increase from last year’s price.

It's the euro price I'm concerned about. Some companies charge insane exchange rates, even allowing for the difference in VAT. I'm also hoping they will ship to Ireland. As far as I know, they did last year.

I just filled my calendar! Last year’s diptyque which I bought as an empty box because I loved the design so much. Couldn’t fit a few bigger things in because the drawers aren’t as deep as with some other calendars so I have four empty drawers to fill. Can always just put chocolate in if I can’t find anything else I really want. The bigger things I’ll give to dh to give me for Christmas. I’d been keeping my calendar purchases in a separate bag and deliberately didn’t look at it just shoved it all in so I genuinely have no idea what is in any of the drawers 😆

@BeanNaGealai I am in the Channels Islands and managed to purchase the FAC last year. It didn’t check out with the VAT removed so they refunded after dispatch.
I would try a dummy order with some perfume and make up to see if it gives you the option of checking out.
I don’t think you can change your location in the app but in safari you can select your location so it should know where it’s going !

Thanks @Isabelle70 . I added some perfume to my basket in the app and it let me go to checkout with it so fingers crossed.

I don’t know if anyone has seen this website, I hadn’t but it is AC central. Spreadsheets, unboxing vids, reviews and ACs for every budget & taste.

There is apparently one that costs £3500! So I haven’t looked at it 🤣

@Sminty2 Oh this is interesting! I enjoy doing my spreadsheets but this would save me a lot of time.
Although judging by what she’s put so far, we may as well all sign up for the Avant calendar!

Me too. I love a spreadsheet.

It’s an untidy site but there’s a lot of links & info if you sift. They even have a men’s section.

I don’t think we will be rushing to buy the Avant, it’s good on paper but HS2 in reality 🤣

Was it Brown Thomas that we all lusted after last year and thought about possibly planning a day trip to Dublin?
