Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

They have kept the price of the beauty calendar at £250 for the past few years. Will be interesting to see if it stays the same or if it increases

From the photo it looks like it also has By Terry Tea to Tan. I don’t think that Harrods is for me this year, which I’m rather relieved about as I already have far too much stuff to use up!

Yeah they do seem to be smaller sizes this year.

I’m seriously considering Harrods now, mainly for Clé de Peau primer (or whatever that veil is meant to be), Sisley lipstick, Bioeffect EGF serum, AB eye cream and few other bits that I’d love to try but unlikely will purchase separately. Probably still will wait for other reveals and hope this one doesn’t get sold out before September.

I quite fancy the Harrods AC too. Although I’m aware that there will be much to be tempted by when all the calendars have been revealed.

Is there a day moisturiser in the Harrods BAC this year?

I too like the look of the Harrods one compared to Liberty.
However it's the lipstick colours in Harrods that put me off & I'm not sure I want a make up brush with Otis Batterbee on it as that just makes me think of Les Battersby from Coro St. (Yes I know that's weird 😂)

Cant wait to see what's in all the others.

Thanks JoRaRaRa. 😊 I don’t mind it not being too heavy on the moisturisers as last year’s had so many that I am still working my way through them, but it would be nice to have a couple. After the eye cream I am using is finished I only have one more (the MZ from
last year) in my stash so am happy to have a few eye creams included and always happy to see the Bioeffect serum as I love that.

Do want to see the contents of Space NK but atm I am very tempted by the Harrods.

Yes it was August - think it was early August but can’t remember exact date

Checked my WA messages and I sent my friend the unboxing video 19th Aug. I think they drip fed a few products prior to that. We probably have a while to wait unfortunately.

I remember last year that we got quite a few content reveals in the same day. It went mad!

According to this article, Harrods fragrance calendar will be £225 and the beauty calendar will be £270

@pinkchampagne1 yes!! It looks like the lyma power youth cream that @OvaHere thought it was 🥳🥳 I looked it up last night and it sounds amazing! I'm so excited 🤩 I'm ok with the slight increase, I thought it was going to go up last year. I think it's the first price increase in 10 years.

I think that’s made my mind up, Harrods beats Liberty for me, loads I’m excited about and a great range of products for me! The beauty drop credit will just be used for something else, maybe something gorgeous clothes wise or sunglasses!!

@26inprogress yep, it definitely beats Liberty for me too. I'm so excited by all the luxury skincare. There's quite a few things that I've tried before but there's still plenty in there that will be the first time I've tried them. And most of the duplicates I'm quite happy to have again.

@pinkchampagne1 I'd prefer another night cream then another eye cream or mask. There weren't many bacs with fs night creams in last year so my stash is rather low, well apart from the 4 bottles of the rich cream 🤣 It ticks all the boxes on my skincare scorecard though and gets bonus points for sizes, luxury and excitement 🤩

I actually think the bac could sell out fast this year 🤔
