Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

@Beautyfox I only use bioeffect on a Sunday night to reset my skin. It's great for sunburn or any irritations too or if you've upset your skin barrier.

I see that beauty detective also has no idea what the copper tube is either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is anyone else now watching the Harrods app like an hawk? 👀🤣

I’ve got a sample of Jeroboam Gozo and just had a sniff. Very patchouli heavy, (made me think of those witchy gift shops where they’re burning joss sticks), with some white florals thrown in.

I've just rewatched the video, it is the Delina exclusif in the photo. Would've preferred athenais or Meliora though.

Just a waiting game now; they've given us the spoilers. At least give a date too! I'm too impatient😁🙈

I'm excited for the Harrods FAC, already knew Id be getting it but seeing the list has me even more ready! I absolutely love Brompton Immortals, if I was someone who stuck to 2 or 3 bottles max then this would be one of them. I was prepared to replace it at full price when the time came too so this is great news for me. Not sure how thrilled I'd be with a 2025 repeat otherwise though!

Guidance, love this and have the 2024 dabber but do really want a spray. Delina is so common now...luxury CK1 of its day but still a lovely scent all the same.

The rest are new to me and I'll try to resist smelling them before I hopefully get my advent.

No la mer in the Harrods bac, unless the copper tube thing is la mer?

Harrods are saying sign up to rewards and the app to find out when it all drops.
I will keep telling myself I don’t need to sign up….
I purchased a big bottle of Guidance last year after it being in 24 and only half way through…. And still have about 5 from last year to try/use!

I am loving the look of the fragrance and the beauty calendars. I have already told DH that I would like the beauty advent for my birthday in October. I love the EGF serum so happy that is in there and want to try the AB eye cream. Other bits in there that also look good.

I’ve bought Liberty, want Jo Malone and now want ALL the Harrods having seen the contents. And the reveals have only just begun. Little hope for me now. Say prayers.

I like the look of the Liberty ac. I like fragrance, don't like hair stuff (it's nice and light on this) and some decent skincare to try.

I definitely go on to buy expensive stuff from a trial size: I think the Sisley Velvet Sleep Mask is wonderful and never would have dreamed of buying it at full price had I not tried it in a BD box.

I've got about £200 in Liberty loyalty vouchers already so I can see what I'll probably do with them

Last year Harrods didn’t do a full reveal of the BAC until it was released. I think we had a few spoilers of both the BAC and the FAC around now but not a full reveal. I am liking the look of both of them. Not looked at the hair one as have enough hair products.

I think the copper tube thing in the centre could be Lyma Power Youth Cream but in a special advent made size. Might be wrong, this is based on trying to figure out the blurred wording and the full size comes in a (fancier) copper tube.

Putting all of the contents into Chat Gpt ( who obv knows all about my skin, stash etc!!) it rates Harrods v highly for my skin. I’m now in a predicament, I have the money saved in beauty drop to pay for liberty outright! I do prefer the fact Harrods more skincare and less perfume heavy than Liberty. There are a few things I really fancy trying and a few things I’d sell. I’m going to ponder!

@26inprogress I'm def torn between Liberty and Harrods for similar reasons. I feel like a spreadsheet is needed. 😂

I think they may try to keep them the same as last year. Looking back at the Beauty Detective site last year's fragrance advent had 5 x 50ml, this year there looks to be 2 x 50ml. There is more 30ml scents this time though.

Edit - sorry saw you were asking about beauty and hair. I think they all could be the same price.
