Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

@OvaHere I have the valmont prime renewal pack from a few years ago and it's not great in all honesty. I'll probably sell it on.

There's a copper cream thing in the pic and a revive green pot and I tried to put them through ai but it keeps saying they're both eye creams. I don't think Harrods will include 4 eye creams but we'll see.

Same on some fb fragrance selling pages. Many not impresed x

People get fomo 🤣 I think it's a good mix of fragrances, definitely going to try to bag one.

I remember that - it the one where there was fight I think? Always worth a re-telling of the story every year!

I do love an eye cream but that's quite a lot. Although they went for loads of mini moisturisers last year.

Oh wow, I get my head down and crack on with my work for a few hours and Harrods have done their content release 😅
Not going to lie, I had a near-panic attack thinking they had gone on sale already…goodness knows how I’m going to cope when they do drop 🙈🤣

If by some miracle I am successful, I’ll get the fragrance calendar - though disappointed that they’ve gone with PDM delina again. As nice as it is, it’s become the PK of the fragrance world.

The BAC, I was excited by the left side of the photo/contents, but uninspired by the right side. I’ve got more Medik8 C-tetra than I can shake a stick at thanks to our fairy friend, two lipsticks feels too much (though happy to see a different shade to bright red), I’m sick of seeing these Rehab capsules, and I don’t see eyelash curlers as a luxury item (I got one in last years HN BAC and that was pushing it).
Obviously I’ll still get it because for what I do want, it’s worth it.

The hair & body AC, I wasn’t at all interested in last years but I’m really liking the look of this years! So I’ll get that as well.

Oh gosh, this is going to be another expensive year. I haven’t even seen Space NK but I know I’ll get their BAC as well and possibly FAC, same with HN. And probably JL if the last couple of years are anything to go by.

Luckily I have shifted quite a few things lately, and have more to list, so I’ll make some space and money to accommodate some of them!

@OvaHere I really hope they're not all eye creams. I have so many, I'm thinking of selling a few and I was thinking of getting the liberty calendar for the Sisley lotion, mz skin eye cream and a few perfumes then selling the rest. I think I'm on my way to making another Frankenstein 😱

Definitely 🤣 With the Huda lip gloss, that's 3 lip products in there. Glad none are red, but do we need 3 in a 25 day period? 🙈 Was it snk who put 6 in theirs last year though?

I dont think ill be going for the Harrods BAC. I got the Medik8 Vit C and Huda Lipgloss from Cults AC last year. I have loads of them mini Tatcha creams.
The hair and beauty one i like the look of, so think ill go for that.
My main one i think ill be going for SNK.

The temple spa skin balm - what do people think about this? My sister was approached by someone asking her to become a sales agent in her team about 10 years ago. And I'm sure last Christmas, someone was selling it in our local town hall. Is it really Harrods luxury?

I don't feel like I can make any vaguely sensible decisions until I've seen SNK and maybe Cult Beauty.

I bought Harrods BAC quite late on last year when they did a small discount on it. I did end up really enjoying it.

I'm torn about Liberty - I like it more than last year but probably wouldn't buy it at full cost. As I have vouchers and the BD discount I wouldn't be paying a lot of 'real' money for it.

I would like to buy less this year but the struggle is real. 😳

Space NK is usually my favourite, so if I get one this year, it will likely be that, but looking forward to seeing the contents!

I received my LiB box with the sunsafe products today - loads of good products in it, good value for money!

I remember you posting about that @Growlybear83 - wasn’t there a video going round, as well as it hitting the media? (Or am I imagining that?)

Fortunately I am safe from the Harrods BAC. Although I think it’s slightly better than Liberty’s, for me it’s a low bar!

I will be with you in spirit for the fragrance a/c quest as I have zero interest in niche perfumes!

I haven’t looked at the Harrods hair and beauty details yet, but will be interested to see what that is like.

I’ve just looked at my DIY Liberty calendar. I seem to have stuffed between two-four items in EVERY drawer, so I think I can safely say it is definitely finished!

I am leaning towards not buying one this year due to the size of my existing hoard/horde but might be tempted to get a ‘cheaper’ one or the LF fragrance if that makes a reappearance.

I also have the 2025 S&G Boots sale bargain to open, as well as the Hourglass Swan palette from the post-Xmas SNK sale and the Harrods gold bag moisturiser kit that I didn’t open last year.

I’m pretty sure that’s enough…

Please remind me of this when I have several calendars in my basket come October!

I am not tempted by Harrods BACs but I really want to purchase a Dyptique one this year. I like pretty much all of their stuff. So expensive though. But at least there is a gap between Liberty and when Dyptique drops.

So excited about the Harrods details release . The fragrance is interesting with Brompton Immortals again. I assume it won’t be day 12 again that would be some weird Deja Vu . Also Delina again and Amourage. Weird that we have had a recap of Rude Oud recently as well with these two perfumes being the big hitters last year
Disappointed with Jo Malone English pear and Freesia this has been doing the rounds for ever
But really excited by Borntostandout, MFK and Initio .
Never heard of Jeroboam so that will be interesting
I hope they don’t keep us on tender hooks with the release date but my betting is they will do a number of mini drops this year like they did with the summer edition as opposed to just one release ( at least that is what I am hoping)

Have they announced the prices yet or did I miss that?

@IlovePond Yes, there was a video but I think it just showed the general shoving and long queues and didn’t include the fight 😆. I remember three or four years ago, when the calendar was released on a Monday morning, and there were loads left when I got to the shop at about 11.30, but I think it’s for a lot more popular since then. The year after that, it went on sale at about 2 am which was great for me as Im usually still awake at that time.

ive actually not tried any of the the products apart from the la P face wash (nice enough) and the bio effect serum (not keen on this as too much for my skin). I have the AB eye cream and Medik8 but haven’t got round to trying these. It’s unusual for me to not have already tried much more. Exciting!
