Do you wear knickers with chub rub shorts?

Sorry was the easiest way to describe them. I love summer dresses but need the shorts underneath. I’ve always worn knickers but was thinking that actually it’s an extra layer. If they have a gusset then I assume they’re designed to wear on their own?

I just wear cycling shorts under dresses with no knickers.

Some of the SHEIN ones have lil’ pockets.

Of course I wear knickers. Anti-chafing shorts aren't underwear.

I used the mega babe anti chafe stick for thighs and ditched any shorts because it worked so well. It was much better than having another layer on hot days so I really recommend it.

I wear the Sloggi cotton chub rub pants. Much cooler

I wear long legged knickers. It’s a game changer.

Yes with the Snag ones as they are like tops of tights and would be ugh without undies. No with the M and S ones as they are knickers with little legs ( and much cooler than Snag being knicker material).

to add that when it’s 40 degrees, I don’t think it’s the pants that will be the deal breaker.

I think this works brilliantly - but always leaves a greasy patch on my skirt/dress if I am sitting. Am I just using too much? I’m pear shaped so hefty thighs but not a particularly large person (UK10/12) so I’m not using it on a massive surface area.

These are so light and comfortable and there is no way I would wear knickers as well!

Nope because I treat them like underwear. Changed daily and washed before re-wearing.

I only buy ones with a 100% cotton gusset though.

I wear knickers and then chub rub shorts and never feel hot or sweaty in that area. I live in what is a very warm, humid climate in the Summer. The anti chafing stick is great when you’re in swimwear or hanging round the house but doesn’t cut the mustard for me when out and about. I never get sore, my inner thighs are not discoloured from chafing and I’m just generally fresher in that whole region.

I wear the M&S ones as above as knickers, have done for years now.

I used to wear chub run shorts religiously until I tried the mega babe anti chaff stick, changed my life 😅 i used it as I travelled around south east Asia with my family and didn’t have any chub rub in 35 degree heat!

Nah knickerless whenever I can. Just chuck the shorts in a 15 mins wash and do without the triple layers. Let the air circulate. Much healthier for you.

Yes they take the place of knickers and are very comfy worn on their own. No need for an extra layer (sweaty!).

I don't usually bother with pants at all unless I'm wearing a dress without tights. You can do what you like
