I know what you mean @Talisin - I know some young girls who wear that kind of ultra wet glossy lip product, (actually, much ‘wetter’ than in the pic above, tbf), and I don’t think it makes lips look particularly attractive irl.

For me, the most beautiful ‘glossy’ lip look is the sort modelled by the K-beauty models/in the K-dramas, etc. if you know what I mean. It’s a look I would love to emulate but sadly I think that ship has sailed, (no matter how many K-beauty lip products I buy😿)

Of course, fashions change and I am sure it looks lovely on some people, (and that particular colour is very nice).

@Talisin I wouldn’t worry, I think they just do that to emphasise the gloss on photos, when you put it on yourself you’d have to do a lot of layering to get it like that. I’ve got a few Dior ones and they are lovely, not OTT at all

My Pelegrims box arrived. I like everything and am glad I got it. The products received are lovely and seem high quality (great throw from the candle) and will all be used.

I got four products; a subscriber exclusive candle, a preview of a new release Summer fragrance 10ml, bath salts 500g and face mask.

I’ll keep it up for another round (£48 every three months) and hope for some skincare next time; a serum and/or moisturiser would be lovely.

The Niche box mentioned earlier looks amazing, but I’ve just spent loads on Zoeva eyeliners 🙈, so will have to give it a swerve 🥰.

@Talisin do you have a link to the Dior glass lipsticks please? I can’t find them on the website.

Yes, I have a lot of foundations and its good to try different ones on sale but they're often not ones I'd have chosen otherwise.

Right now I really want to try the VB/AB foundation so I think that should be my next purchase rather than multiple bargains I'm not overly interested in. But I know I'm more likely to spend on the bargains in separate transactions than drop VB/AB money in one go so I need to work on that.

Not at all. I’m pleased you mentioned it because I wasn’t really sure what I was subscribing too or even if a box would be dispatched soon after paying. It looks a nice mix of products. I’m looking forward to it.

They have not been released in the UK yet - launched in the US today

I love the VB/AB foundation, I have normal skin as know some skin types don’t get on with them.
With VB now at Space NK I bought mine when a gwp was on and double points to make the cost seem more palatable

I tried to find the link again but now it just tells me page not available. Even tried with a vpn and nada. Sorry.

I have the VB one. It is quite nice but I don't get the raving about it. I expected to love it more for the price.

If you do want to buy it and can't get it on a VB site discount then remember that the Augustinus Bader site also sells it and you can get a sign up discount there.

I forgot it was now at SNK. That's a good option too. If @TreesinthePark can get it on discount with double points and a gwp that would go a long way to justifying the cost.

Its actually crazy how much of my huge stash of makeup/skincare/fragrance were not intentionally chosen as individual products. The majority is from edits/advents and sale bargains to good to resist. So even though I'm constantly spending on beauty it feels like a splurge to just buy an expensive one-off item I want to try!

I think I just need to get finance to pay my wage straight to them 🤣 They're really coming for our money this year 🤑

@LoveLabradors I finally made my Zoeva eyeliner purchases!
I went for metallic topaz, metallic graphite and a new one called metallic lavender. I got a free make up pouch and pencil sharpener as well 😃

When it comes to birthdays/Christmas, I always tell people that they can’t go wrong with Dior … and that’s lead to my marvellous stash! Quite a few items have also had the personalised engraving so I couldn’t sell them
if I wanted to!
