@IlovePond i wanted to buy those when they were on the $1 offer but they sold out whilst i was havering! Random caffeine infused tongue sheets to boost your metabolism…Totally up my street 😂 I’m excited to receive my box although I think it will take a while still. SK have been really good (so far) about the payment glitches: they’ve asked me to remove the disputes so that they can refund to PayPal, so I’ve removed one of the 3, and then hopefully will be able to work through the other 2 as well if they can sort it quickly. It was quite a shock to discover that Paypal had taken nearly £200 for one order (of £50)!

Good grief @Fillybuster - I had forgotten about your PP drama. I hope it gets sorted. The strips I have don’t have caffeine,(I think), and came in the Besties Box. Is that the one you have ordered?

@TreesinthePark yeah, i have seen before where darker shades are the only ones left, which then makes sense as it is excess stock, but on the first day of sale I could use a promo code against the medium one and the code also worked for the dark and it just feels mean that someone fair skinned couldn't use the promo code against the box for light skin and again is being left out of this promo 😔

Ah, guess I was looking at different strips! I’ve got the mint besties box coming as I missed the first two, or more to the point, I’d never really looked at SK properly until you talked about the pink and blue boxes@IlovePond, and by the time I managed to get an account set up (for some reason my email address just wouldn’t work) they had sold out. I spent a few days havering, and then finally got my act together, albeit a bit over-enthusiastically, for the mint box.

I hope you like your SK stuff @Fillybuster it’s my favourite company atm. The mint box looks good.

I might have a go on the TirTir foundation tomorrow if I am feeling brave!

@JoRaRaRa @TreesinthePark it is annoying that none of the promos have worked on the Fair edit. I'm so pale I can't just make do with the medium one. It's probably a blessing though because I do not need it and if memory serves me I was only really interested in the blush and contour.

The WA blushes aren't even one of my favourite blushes so I've no idea why it still takes up headspace. Must be the FOMO of it all.

@TreesinthePark do you have a room full of foundations? If I could pick them up for that price I think I would.

That said you do also get the very fairest shade of a line heavily discounted sometimes, although not as much. I can usually make the first shade in any range work for me.

A while back I found the lightest shade of a stupidly expensive Cle de Peau foundation on one of the bargain websites, the one that retails for about £250. It was expired and still close to £100. I did talk myself down. 😂

SpaceNK has some good perfume samples in again so I ordered LE Velatura in Cinnamon Bun with £15 of loyalty points and selected Diptyque Orpheon 2ml and Creed Vetiver 1.7ml. I definitely didn’t need anymore stick blush but I’m excited to try it!

I'm not a big lover of chanel either to be honest, I'm more of a dior girl. But every so often, they have something so pretty that I can't resist. It's the highlighter that's really grabbed my attention and it's only available in the set. I'm off back online to buy the nectar blush too as that just looks stunning 😍

Well of course, today is the day CB release their Hourglass edit. More reasonably priced than the WA was and a good mix of products. Not for me though, because I already own most of them.

It’s the sort of thing I would be happy to receive as a gift, (not that anyone would ever buy it for me).

I have the Swan palette put away for Xmas 26 and a mini HG blush that I never remember to use- I must do so!

It's fine though, I'm not interested in this one. I don't rate the Vanish primer and I'm using a powder mini from one of the advents at the moment - it's okay but not a fave. I think I have the mini blush and whilst I do like their concealer I use a specific shade. So I'm not paying £65 for a mini mascara.

Like the WA I don't think this will sell great at that price. I could be wrong but even edits at around £40 aren't going as quickly as they used to.

I was just coming to post about the hourglass edit. Also not for me, I've got quite a lot of the stuff already that's in the box. I actually really like the setting powder but I have quite a few different ones to work through.

BDAY15 does take it down to £55.

If the retailers say it’s because demand is lower for darker shades that’s disingenuous - they only develop a few and in the shade range, often all with the same warm undertone. I haven’t used the Lisa Eldridge pinpoint Concealer yet even though I really want to try it, none of the shades a match either too light or too warm. There’s definitely brands that are better at serving different skin like Bobbi Brown.

Having read the thread now doesn’t seem like I’ll have to rush to buy it if none of you are impressed!

Ooh that Chanel set is beautiful but really can’t justify it….. is the lipstick a pinky nude? Are the reviews good for the set?

Not impressed by the hourglass set, it's so hard to get products that need an exact match, concealer for example in these thing
As i have aged, I have moved away from foundation and seem to have been lucky in the skin genes department so with a good skin care routine I just use a bit of primer and powder - keep returning to givenchy prisme libre (the one with four colours that blends together) so I'm wary of moving away from that.

For me it seems like we are in a bit of a lull time with decent edits/kits and there hasn't been one from the likes of SNK/liberty/Sefridges etc for a while. There have been some more focused on body/bath etc but I miss the perfume kits from liberty, and I hope their recent move to put 4 samples in a box and call it a perfume kit isn't going to be a permanent one. They don't seem to have sold well which tells you all you need to know.

I didn't realise you could choose your own colour in the basket. That makes it slightly better. I thought they'd allocated a random shade. I'm very fair/ neutral/cool and use 1.5 Creme. I could probably use 1.0 Birch also. In case that helps anyone.
