Beauty Detective is a great source of information to see trends and when things were previously released.
Last year Liberty released the scent edits in July and October, they didn’t have one in the first half of the year.
Space launched a hair edit after they had done a hair gwp so maybe one is coming in the next week or so
And then it’s the ‘spf’ edits and summer edits before advent starts

People on insta are loving it. I'm not going to use any of it until a few British content creators have tested it all and I've heard their thoughts. It's too expensive to keep it if it's crap. It kept going out of stock whilst I was trying to buy it but it seems to be OK now. I'm not sure if it'll stick around for long though.

Hourglass, bunch of mini's and a blush I already have so that's a shame but saves me money.

I've watched a few people try it. Tbh I think the blush looks patchy and a couple of creators have said so. The basket and the lipstick are the best of the set imo. The highlighter is nice but suited to darker skin than mine as it's quite gold - not a yellow gold though, it is subtle.

Actually thinking about it the colour choices are a bit strange. The blush is a very pale pink almost a highlighter but the actual highlighter is gold. Different products in the set are suited to very different skin tones.

That's one thing that CB is doing well I suppose, we can pick different skin tones. I'm not sure why chanel can't have different toned boxes instead of trying to cater for all 🤔

I haven't seen any negative reviews yet, but not many of the influencers that I follow have it yet. I'll defo listen out for patching with the blusher. If those 'beauty experts' can't get it right then I've got no chance 🤣 i went back on and bought the nectar blush, from the swatches I've seen, it looks gorgeous and I think it'll pair well with the purple-y powder blush from my hourglass palette.

Maybe I just follow people who tell me what I want to hear 🤣

For those looking to try samples of fragrance or skincare, Notino sells sets of 5 (from memory, I haven’t ordered in a while) where you select the products you want for each set. Useful if you are ordering something else at the same time for postage charges, unless they changed the delivery rates since I last looked.

I haven't seen overly negative reviews but I watched Alicia Archer and Tania B Wells try out the products and I didn't think the blush worked well on either of them. I've not seen a review of it on someone fair skinned yet. The blush would probably suit me but the highlighter wouldn't really.

It's annoying there isn't a bit more curation as I think people will buy it for the cute basket but probably not love either the blush or the highlighter depending on their skin tone.

I don't know why I'm thinking so deeply about a set I'm not going to buy. 😂

Maybe my brain is in training for deep thoughts about all the BACs I won't buy later this year.

I've just watched the Tania b Wells review of it. Interesting that the blush doesn't like being layered, I think that's my plan to layer the nectar with the hourglass powder blush out the window 🤣 I guess I need to decide if I just want it for a more no makeup look in summer or if it's better for me to just send it back 🤔 I think the Delices blush is too light for me so I'll likely put that on vinted. The highlighter and lipstick both look really gorgeous 😍 I'm now looking forward to trying these straight away! I'll watch the other review later.

@JoRaRaRa I do think the lipstick is lovely but I can't spend that much for a nice lippie and a basket. Even though I'm drawn to the basket I don't know what practical use it would be unless you used it as a mini handbag (which I wouldn't). I feel like some of these fancy items are purposefully for content creators who have a display shelf behind them.

Yes, it's going to look really nice on people's dressing tables and in the background etc 🥰 I had thought about selling mine but there's a space on my dressing table that I think it'll fit nicely in! I had thought about using it as a handbag, but it's too small for my phone 🤣

I wasn't wowed. I'm not sure I can say what it did. I'll try it a few more times but at the moment I'm not regretting selling on the others.

That wasn't the shade I associated with the word nectar. Probably due to the WA shades called nectar that are shimmery peach.

I expected nectar to be peachy. 🤣

Ah I might keep 1 and sell the other one then. I have a lot of masks to get through so unless it was amazing, I'm happy to sell it.

@OvaHere @Doglover73 When I first saw the swatches online, the names were in the comments not on the picture and I assumed that the nectar was the lightest. I'm the same, in my head nectar is a sparkly peachy highlighter shade 🤣

My shade is silk and all the others are far too dark, given that need a medium.

I already have most of the minis from a gwp from SNK when I bought my concealer , so it’s a bit rich that they are charging £65.
