Welcome to style mavens old and new to continue our chats.
Hopefully more bling if there's another banquet on the horizon?

I like the cape coat - is it really Zara? Neutral on the trousers but they're better than the linen ones.

Pallisers · 26/02/2026 14:21

I like the cape but not the trousers. And the shoes are like something I'd wear - that isn't an endorsement!

Choux · 26/02/2026 14:22

Kate head to toe in burgundy and Max head to toe in grey.

I wish Kate would wear fewer bows.

Both ladies look fabulous! Catherine’s coat is familiar? , I think she’s worn this before?

Choux · 26/02/2026 14:26

Yes she has. A state visit I think. She is the queen of repeats these days. Good for the environment. Not so good for us.

justasking111 · 26/02/2026 14:28

Mrs Thatcher and my own fine bosom cured me of bows. I'm a v scoop neckline fan

Choux · 26/02/2026 14:28

A couple more Sophie outfits. I think both of these are repeats too.

Great 👍 , love the shoes and the tortoise 🐢 😁

Lifestooshort71 · 26/02/2026 14:52

I've learnt, rather late in life, that your overall silhouette is more important than the shape of individual items - this is something that Meghan struggles with sometimes.

FallenNight · 26/02/2026 15:16

I love Sophies dress in the bottom right. Its gorgeous.

Any LK BENNETT fans I've had a closing down sale e mail this morning.

Yes the shop in my town is closing down

Maireas · 26/02/2026 16:15

I like the deep wine colour on Kate. Max in grey seems wrong, somehow! She obviously restrained herself 😊

That was like a puzzle as I wondered if I was suppose to recognise the legs!

I now see it’s Meghan’s latest Jordan outfit. I like the cape type jacket but paired with wide trousers adds a lot of bulk to her shape. Slim cigarette trousers would have worked better.

Ah I thought it was the one she wore to a Kevin Costner event but I can see it's not now. She has pared back her accessories to only her wedding ring and bangle for this trip. She must read the gossip after all 😊

Lunde · 26/02/2026 19:10

Burgundy really suits Kate although I'm not a huge fan of pussy-cat bows.

I like Meghan's cape-coat although I think different trousers would have suited better. It was also a bit strange that everyone else was wearing light clothing with shirts/open jackets while she was bundled up in a blanket coat.

Sidebeforeself · 26/02/2026 20:12

I know Kate lost her stylist some time ago…do we know if she’s been replaced? I just feel like for daytime duties Kate might be styling herself sometimes.

RockaLock · 26/02/2026 20:32

Hmm, yes, there’s something not quite right with Meghan’s coat, it just swamps her, but she looks very nice in the photos once she’s taken it off.

But why does Harry insist on looking so scruffy at these events? Look at those photos: every other man there is wearing a suit, even if they are not wearing a tie. Would it really have been so hard to put on a suit and a smarter shirt, instead of some chinos, a random jacket and suede boots?

I just think, if the people hosting your visit have made an effort, it is respectful to do the same.

Maireas · 26/02/2026 20:38

I agree, @RockaLock. Harry seems to have just got into a particular clothing zone.
I think he could mix it up with different styles of jackets at least. Definitely for some of these visits.

l quite like a pussy bow neckline. But then again I’m rather lacking in the bosom area so appreciate a bit of bulking out 😂

He wears his trousers too low, he really is too scruffy.

I agree. A nice sharp suit would look good 👍

What's so strange about it? Jordan is cold at this time of year and if you've come from California you may feel it more than people who live there.
