I'm excited to try today's, last few days have been great for me.

Started on my Supernova cleanser, first impressions are good!

redluckycat · 20/12/2025 16:18

I’m going to store craft supplies in my calendar, although it might be a pain trying to remember what’s in which box! I could use the top row for one catergory, the next for another etc I suppose.

I had the LF Alice in Wonderland BAC years ago and that box is still going strong in perfect condition and is being used daily - it’s beautiful! That has four drawers (it had removeable boxes inside) so was easy to repurpose.

When I’m researching all of the BACs, I calculate the value to me; I look at the total of the products that I’d really want and only add up the cost of these to make sure that it’s good value to me. The rest is a bonus.

moormum · 20/12/2025 16:59

I cancelled BD once I had enough saved for the advent calendar as was underwhelmed by the drops this year. Have set up own beauty fund so will have enough for a different calendar next year- will look at Vogue or Space NK I think.

Allisnotlost1 · 20/12/2025 17:39

Re the Elasticizer - maybe I’m doing it wrong but I use it before I go to bed, put a silk bonnet on and then wash and condition in the morning. I love the product, the perfect weight for my fine and coloured hair, easy to use and doesn’t grease up my pillowcase.

narniabusiness · 20/12/2025 18:20

Thank you @AprilLadyI was hoping you would be able to confirm the value with your spreadsheets

Ilikeyoursleeves · 20/12/2025 18:49

Just heading out tonight and have put the Trinny on my cheeks and lips, I love it!! Goes on really well as a subtle blush and really nice on my lips too. It’s very subtle so I put the Trish M lippy on top (which is also very subtle!), I also have the eyeliner and mascara on. And the Bibbi perfume. I’m a walking Liberty AC again!

EachandEveryone · 20/12/2025 19:05

I find runny very drying so will be gifting thus

jay55 · 20/12/2025 19:11

I am off on hols tomorrow, so I opened the rest today. Other than tomorrows which made me giddy, I’m underwhelmed with the rest. Be interesting to see how the rest of you find it.

PuzzlingRecluse · 20/12/2025 20:28

Late to the party today, I really like today’s and am already wearing it.

I didn’t know the PK was pre shampoo 🙈 I thought it was a conditioner 😅 used it as it’s meant to be used this morning & my hair feels lovely, I’m well pleased.

DivorcedButHappyNow · 21/12/2025 00:07

I’m gutted. Just opened today’s (21st) and the drawer is empty.

What is the email address for customer service?

very :( :( :(

Chickydoo · 21/12/2025 00:54

I'm gutted too. Opened door 21, as just got in late and it is the 21st (no spoilers though) disappointing product and retails at £16.00.
absolutely not a luxury item.

IlovePond · 21/12/2025 04:24

Oh FFS.
@jay55 I leapt out of bed this morning following your ‘giddy’ comment last night. I thought you meant giddy with excitement 😂

This is why I get pissed off about spoilers and the ‘oh it’s not really a spoiler cos I didn’t say what it is’. I was disappointed this morning after reading that comment as I was expecting something brilliant ( and I’m already in a foul mood if you couldn’t tell)

narniabusiness · 21/12/2025 07:16

That was directed @jay55not you

I fell for it too!!

I do love this product but there are millions of them on Vinted, and we’ve had it in a BD more than once (I think?)

IlovePond · 21/12/2025 07:18

😹 @jay55

Well, I am really into hair products atm, and was kind of looking forward to this one as I thought it was a ‘leave-in’ treatment.

However, I have zero intention of putting it on towel-dried hair, then washing out, so I suspect I won’t get much benefit from it. I will be putting it on in the shower, leaving it for a few minutes then washing it out.

I do think the size is a bit small for a calendar at this price point, (I felt the same about the LK product too). However, maybe a little goes a long way 🤷‍♀️

Swapped today's for a mz eye cream so I'm pretty pleased. This doesn't work for my hair at all and makes it really dry and tangly but works well in my daughters hair so she will use it.

countdowntonap · 21/12/2025 07:38

Yes we’ve had it in a recent BD, with the shampoo. It’s actually a good product, even on my fine light hair…but you have to be sure to rinse and then rinse some more!! Just disappointing as BD members have received it so recently.

HumBumBum · 21/12/2025 07:55

I buy it quite a bit off Vinted @IlovePondI usually get 3 generous uses out of this tube. I also just use it as a normal conditioner and it works v well.

Snowplop · 21/12/2025 07:57

Where's the matching shampoo? Odd IMO to put in just a conditioner. It's a great product though - we had it in the BD a few boxes back and have since rebought on Vinted.

I really have loved the calendar so far. It's my first Liberty, and first luxury, advent. My preference would be for fewer perfumes though. I'd have liked another moisturiser - I've already finished the excellent MZ one.

Same! I was excited to open today’s…
Although to be fair I’d rather it this way around than the rest to be meh!

This is the first that I’m quite disappointed with, mainly because full size 250ml is only £26, and we’ve got a little travel size.

I’m happy we’ve got a conditioner, but with my hair this will last a couple of goes.
We had a shampoo earlier in the calendar (different brand).

Ilikeyoursleeves · 21/12/2025 08:06

I also just leapt out of bed in anticipation of feeling giddy / excited / bowled over by today’s drawer after that earlier comment!!

Just opened the drawer.

Damn 🤣

imp2007 · 21/12/2025 08:18

@Chickydoo I did exactly the same as you we got back from holiday early hours of this morning and I very excitedly opened 21 - had convinced myself the remaining drawers would be epic! V underwhelmed especially as we had this recently in beauty drop and it's a small size. At this point I'd love a jumbo pot of eye wateringly expensive and luxurious face cream.

On a positive note I slathered on the Verden last night and despite only being in bed for around five hours last night have logged nearly an hour and a half of deep sleep and feel surprisingly good.
