Fred wasn't competing at the Sydney Olympics. Just having a good time.

Maireas · 07/02/2026 19:38

Of course Princess Anne was a silver medallist at Montreal in 1976.

No, Anne competed at Montreal but didn't win a medal. It was Zara who won a silver in London in 2012.

KiIIingMeDeftly · 07/02/2026 20:11

Anyway, back to clothes and I love Rania's green coat. Might be a bit tricky to button though!

My bad. Her medals were for the European Championships.
Not too shabby, though.

Nice
Not sure about the white shoes though.

(the sub note is the leather jacket, which I think looks good).

Queen Mathilde reminds me of I think an actress. I can't think of who though.

Choux · 07/02/2026 21:32

Renee Zellweger’s new face?

Serenster · 08/02/2026 10:24

Meghan out and about at a charity gala last night looking stunning. One of her absolute best looks I think. I also think the wrap held at her waistline was a masterstroke for the most flattering pictures possible - it adds drama and illusion! Chef’s kiss.

She looks gorgeous there and the black at the top of the dress lifts the pale colour. I like the drama of the cape too! Capes are having quite a moment on the red carpet.

ETA: The dress is by Harbison Studio, a brand I hadn't heard of before https://harbison.studio/pages/about

Maireas · 08/02/2026 10:41

I agree, Serenster. I definitely think it's one of her best looks, very elegant and a good shape for her. The cape adds drama.

It's her best formal look for a while, but I assume a loan for the evening as it's not actually fitted for her? Too loose at the bust and too tight at the waist.
Not really a fan of the cape thingie (on anyone TBF) but it's not awful. Bit boring colour - I think she suits more bold jewel colours so much better.
Make up good (but a bit of a repetitive look for her), hair is boring (again). The earrings are great.

I agree. The designer is normally more out there so this could be bespoke.

Eaumyword · 08/02/2026 13:36

I really don't like it. It would have been much better in a bolder block colour (without the contrasting piping), but I don't think it fits her well. It seems to be big on the bust and tight on the waist giving her a tummy that she definitely doesn't have.
It just looks quite '80's and not the good bits of that very shiny decade.
Hair and makeup look good.

Choux · 08/02/2026 13:55

Did someone say 80s???

Meghan looked sensational in that dress.

HollyhockDays · 08/02/2026 14:13

The fit at the top of that dress is very odd.

I love that look, I think it's quite old school glamour. I slightly agree about the fit, but I think she looks great.

Sidebeforeself · 08/02/2026 14:48

I think she looks exactly like how she wants to be seen..an Holly wood A lister with old style glamour. I dont regard her as such personally, but she has achieved that look in this outfit.

eggandonion · 08/02/2026 15:38

I think she's certainly looking very glamorous. The wrap is great body con!

‘Old school glamour’ is exactly right.

How about we don't post pictures of that greedy sex offender-enabling pair on this thread? Quite frankly the pair make me sick and I'd rather not look at them.
