Royal Style: Hoping for Yuletide shimmer, but not too many green coats!

Evening! Just setting up the next thread in case the other one fills up!

Looking forward to Christmas coats.

Im watching a thing about Tudor Christmas. Lucy Worsley has lots of coats. Currently a sort of Heather colour tweed. Tweeds and flecks are good.

I love Lucy Worsley's wardrobe. I watched her do a talk about Jane Austen this year and had serious envy of the gorgeous vintage dresses she was wearing.

I expect they aren't all hers, but are from the production team's "wardrobe".

She does seem to have access to lovely clothes and is always immaculately turned out. She has a lovely job!

She certainly does! I’d kill to be Curator of Royal Palaces. All that access to every nook and cranny of Hampton Court, Tower of London etc. I’d be in my historic element.

That's so sad about Mette-Marie, she sounds very debilitated.

Living with a degenerative disease must be exceptionally difficult, especially for a public figure. She's still only 52, so I hope she can get a transplant.

I wonder if this is one of the reasons why King Harald isn't abdicating, despite looking very frail these days?

I have filled up the old thread with Christmas glam, winter knitwear and even a few coats...
