How about we don't post pictures of that greedy sex offender-enabling pair on this thread? Quite frankly the pair make me sick and I'd rather not look at them.

Yes, not a pleasant image at all.

I like the style of Meghan’s dress and I don’t even mind the slightly non descript colour as the black trim and the wrap coat thing lift it. It’s definitely her best look for a while but it is unfortunately slightly let down by the poor fit. Again 🤷‍♀️

NewAgeNewMe · 08/02/2026 18:01

Meghan looks fabulous.

EmpressSisi · 08/02/2026 19:49

It’s a nice enough dress, but it’s clearly designed for a woman with a bigger bust and tiny waist. The bust is gaping, and the midsection is creating bumps and lumps where there are none 😞

I would have loved to see her lean into an Old Hollywood glam vibe—think a bold cat eye or lipstick, a deep side part, and soft, sculpted curls. The scraped-back bun makes her face look harsher, and the finish feels messy with all the flyaways.

It’s definitely one of her better outfits in recent years, but honestly, the with poor fit and sloppy finishes, I really she’s been done dirty here.

My DIL is absolutely tiny. She loves a bargain. Had a Ball to attend last year found a dress in the bridal/prom dress department of a hospice shop. There's a woman who alters clothes beautifully. No more gaping boned top. The waist was altered, it was shortened. What a difference.

Catherine might buy Boden but it will be altered, lined etc. Diana had her bras sewn into her dresses. Meghan must borrow clothes I suppose.

I thought Meghan's dress was really dull and made her look flat. The whole look - hair, dress and make-up were all too simple. I think she needed one element to be a bit more vibrant.

Gems?

Meghan is very subtle jewellery wise.

themessygarden · 09/02/2026 05:18

I think it had all the makings of a great look, but it somehow totally missed the mark.

The earrings were fab. Maybe plus a statement necklace? Or big jewelled bracelets?

justasking111 · 09/02/2026 17:32

I had a lump in my throat. The crowd Italians as well were so lovely to stand and salute a very special lady who sat in the stands.

ExquisiteDressing · 09/02/2026 18:08

It's lovely isn't it, Anne is one of my favourite Royals, so hardworking and down to earth.

deeahgwitch · 09/02/2026 18:24

No I didn’t see it but watched your posting of it.
I couldn’t hear what they were saying.
Perhaps you could ?
Anne must be mightily p*ssed off with what has been going on.
She has worked tirelessly for the monarchy.
I’m not impressed with her style but her commitment to her “work” is spot on.

The sleeveless Massimo Dutti knit Max is wearing is very on trend. If brown. Although perhaps she fancied an antidote to the bright orange!

Pallisers · 09/02/2026 20:06

Orange as a state colour is great for sporting events - really stands out.

I am probably a bit biased as she has a look of my middle daughter about her but Amelia is just more stunning looking with every appearance she makes.

Maireas · 09/02/2026 20:23

I used to live right near Wembley and when a Dutch team were playing the streets were filled with fans in that bright orange. It was quite something.

I think the colour and silhouette are lovely, but I'm not sure about the buttons or the ruching.

Sofia of Sweden is having a brown moment too but I prefer this cooler deeper shade to the one Kate wore the other day.

Maireas · 10/02/2026 20:08

Yes, very dark brown is definitely a better shade. More chocolate.. I like her handbag as well. I'm not keen on the long ringlet hair, though, but it's very now.

OP posts:
Eaumyword · 10/02/2026 21:45

Oh that's a fabulous look! Very luxurious and 'expensive' looking. Agree on the darker chocolate colour looking stunning.

KnickerlessParsons · 10/02/2026 23:33

I think she should have worn shoes in a similar brown to her handbag though.

KiIIingMeDeftly · 10/02/2026 23:48

No, that would be too matchy-matchy and a bit dated.
