I recall other royals doing gun training and self defense once upon a time. Haven't seen it mentioned about today's royals.

Lady Louise is the most likely royal lady to do military training? She's in the officer training corps?

The queen mother learnt to shoot rats during the war. The queen learnt to shoot as well. In case we were invaded.

They all do special training, don't they? Harry writes about it in "Spare".

🤣 I saw something saying it was taken in 2025 so it might be 6 weeks old. Or 13 months!

Edited to say that with photoshop you can now de-age yourself by 5 years in any photo.

Mary is no stranger to guns and the Army. she began as a private in the Home Guard in 2008. After training, she became a sergeant in the Home Guard 2009, lieutenant in the Home Guard 2009, first lieutenant in the Home Guard 2015, captain in the Home Guard in 2019 and honorary major in the Home Guard in 2023. She has taken part in a large number of activities and exercises under the auspices of the Home Guard through the Army-, Navy- and Air Home Guard.

Prince Michael of Kent was a bobsleigh bod but I seem to remember a bad crash? So not an Olympian.

I half watched the Winter Olympics opening ceremony tonight. When the Monaco team came in the commentators said Albert has competed at 5 Winter Olympics!!!!!

Of course he did. I reckon him and Haakon could do the 2 man Bob.

Fred is a marathon man and could probably give them a run for their money, pun intended!

We know Charlene is a champion swimmer, so Monaco would win at that event.

[Fred also met Mary at the Sydney Olympics where he was in the sailing (?) team. I don't think Mary was competing.]

I think in a fight situation Id want Anne, Sophie , Kate on my side. And the late Princess Margaret. Reckon they could cope with an enemy attack no problem.

I’d also add Princess Leonor of Spain to the team. She looks like she could be pretty useful in a number of events.

Ah, good call about Leonor, she's just finished her military training, hasn't she?
