Commodity milk personal today.

Counted up my stash, 30 travel sizes listed for sale around 30 unopened in storage, will decide as I go on to sell or open and about 50 travel sizes currently open for personal use + maybe 10 fbs. All in the last year. I blame the mounjaro but I enjoy it and can afford it so no harm done.

I have a drop of VB Portofino on, at least to get me going in the morning. At first when I bought this I kept it for the summer and it does feel summary. It didn't work for me in the heat it's very strong and I can only wear 2 sprays in cooler weather and it does remind me if summer! Luckily I do love being reminded of summer in the middle of the winter so that won't be an issue

We will be out for a home during the day so I may switch to something else later. If its cool enough I may go for devotion intense - hazelnuty vanilla to my nose, very little orange blossom. That's one I only appreciate I colder weather

I learned I need to keep some samples to test in the right season.

I have a question for you! What brand do you have most full bottles from? Full 30ml or more

There are worse addictions to have. I blame the mounjaro too, I've put on weight this week but still managed to lose some hair and spend money on more perfume 😩🤣

Philosykos layered with vanilla 28. I was in the mood for fig and vanilla today. Really nice combo. Was looking through my perfumes earlier today and I realised I don’t have anything that I truly love. There’s a lot of likes and I like switching things up but there’s not one fragrance that I feel is really ‘me’. Maybe that’s not necessary but I think because I’ve moved so still discovering what works for me now. I need to rediscover what I like, which I’m currently doing any way as I’m working my way through my forgotten samples and have the Liberty kit on its way to me at the end of the year. As basic as this sounds, the one I use the most here is EA green tea on a day to day basis and maybe wulong cha which I like a lot. But I don’t like the initial spray of wc as it makes me cough, very chemical so it puts me off a bit. Hmm.

@MiaN I actually didn't realise that the most FS bottles of mine are actually from ysl - cinema, Mon paris, black opium glitter, manifique and libre.

The 2 brands where I have more than one fb are byredo and matiere premiere, also carolina herrera I have both original and very. But I've decided to swerve fbs in future as just have so many travel size and enjoy the variety + they are more portable. 10ml is my holy grail size.

Do you count the 5ml? You are very good selling things you won't use.

I actually really like having a full bottle on my dressing table as decoration. I won’t buy something where I don’t like the bottle no matter how much I like the perfume … but I broke that for the Commodity Milk Orchid. Most boring bottles ever!

I have alluded to this before but I had addiction issues in the past. I'll likely always have that addictive aspect to my personality so its about how I channel it. People think addiction is the using/ taking of something but its also the whole mental obsession around the DOC that goes with it. Perfume allows me to do that in a safe way, and because im selling a lot of what I buy that mitigates the cost. Plus I smell GREAT!

If I genuinely love a perfume I like the experience of a bottle. I am trying to fully use up the travel before deciding so it's mix for me. For many 30ml is great size - like lira, devotion and lost cherry. They will last me years as even during the season they are not something I gravitate to daily. Angels share or Witchy Woo 7.5 ml will do. I enjoy them but so rarely want to wear them. Ginger Biscuit should have been 30ml. I am trying to decide the faith of burning cherry but that too is too big bottle for me

Velvet Aura, Mojave Ghost I need full bottles as I wear them frequently and 5 sprays at least each time.

@MiaN I have cracked and bought the Velvet Aura home perfume. I was ordering something else from JL and they had it for a good price. It was too good an opportunity to pass up such a gorgeous bottle

The main brand I’ve got duplicate full bottles from is Shay & Blue - 3 x 100mls and 2 x 30ml! They’re cheaper than a lot of perfumes and they quite often do bundles or two full sizes for a big reduction, so I’ve obviously fallen foul of that a few times in the past.

I’ve also got two full size Green Tea flankers, two SDJ body sprays and two Saltair body sprays. Everything else is one offs. I have had more than one Replica before, but just down By the Fireplace now.

I don't think there's enough help for people with addiction issues. I'm glad you're able to channel it through perfume though, even if it is expensive 🩷

My CB Gwp arrived today 😍 I've already tried the lychee rose which I surprisingly love, the discotheque which someone says smells like an 80s gran, which I agree with, but my gran would've been my age in the 80s so I'm OK with that, it does remind me of her so I'm keeping it so I can sometimes smell like her 😍 and I tried the adp which I love!!

I thought it's a lot until I counted mine! I have some more fbs, and less travels but not far off what you have. I need to level up my bathroom spray routine!

My most nostalgic perfume is Merit Retrospect. I love it. It reminds me of my Mum.

I'm trying this out today. Bought a travel size from a little market stall near work. Think it was £10. Talking of bathroom sprays they were also doing an air freshener in the same scent for £3 so I got that too.

It's exceeded my expectations. Reminds me a bit of Fleur de Peau. Sweeter and not quite a sophisticated but that same powdery sort of scent.

SOTD is Commodity Juice. It’s bar far the Commodity fragrance that suits me best. I have a range of their travel sizes and a couple of small 1.5/2ml but I wouldn’t RP

M&S Sparkle & Shine (one of the new limited edition ones.)

Very light, vague hint of fruit, fades quickly. Lost Cherry it is not. Completely inoffensive, suitable for work, theatre etc because I don't think anyone would be able to smell it on you - unless I'm just noseblind to it. Only a tenner so hasn't exactly broken the bank.
