That's exactly what I'm wearing today. I was looking at my FB's and confirmed they are all different brands, until I looked to the side and spotted the M&S sparkle & shine and the white coconut edp that I've just purchased.

The smell has definitely gone so I'm going to pop in to Selfridges to peruse the perfume counters and have a spray of scents i can't afford 🙃

Testing mm replica when the rain stops. This is a surprise for me. Its from the replica discovery kit I bought months ago which I tested initially and I didn’t like any of the scents except by the fireplace really and under the lemon tree. I had discounted this one completely but trying it again today I do actually quite like it. I really think my tastes have dramatically changed recently, maybe since relocating or just in myself, hence why I’m struggling to find something I love. Wouldn’t buy rain but it’s been really interesting to find new notes that I’m liking more now

kayali rose one from the Cult GWP- too much for me but awfully like Delina, perhaps a bit sweeter. Kayali is not for me but I do like the bottles

I've just tried this one and it's a surprising like for me. Previous kayali ones I've tried, I've found to be far too sweet. I've also just tried the Charlotte tilbury star confidence, it's nice but the CT ones never last long, not sure if that's a me problem or them 🤣
Also tried the creed eladaria and I can't decide if I like it. I think I'll put it to one side and try again later, maybe it wasn't good to smell it straight after the kayali. I'm also not sure what I think to the sana jardin tiger by her side. Again, maybe wasn't great to smell it after the sweet kayali.

Im liking the rose kayali. Also a suprise win is commodity milk personal. Tried the milk bold before and found it headache inducing. This is lovely a bit spicy and very lactonic.

That kayali one is nice. I got the mini when it came out. I love the little kayali bottles. They're releasing yet another range shortly, a musk one. I need to try and resist. It's the only brand that induces that 'collector' vibe in me.

DH says kayali smells like nightclubs in the 90s. I should get him on Fragrantica….

I joined in with the quick count (4 FB, <20 travels, <30 samples). Smaller ones - some new for advent, some to be gifted. I only buy in autumn unless they are my FB HG. No FB from the same brand.

Storage: lipstick holders and cardboard trays in a drawer. Vaguely grouped by regular wears, then by notes for lucky dip days.

The drawer does please me and bring joy. Much easier to store than clothes or fabric…

So I went for the storage box with compartments from hobbycraft for my perfume sample collection 😊 the box is a bit on the big side, but I really like being able to see everything. I've done them in alphabetical order and put in little cards for now to remind me of what's where. I still have another box to divide up. I've enjoyed ordering them 😁 as you can see, I've used the big sections for my weird shaped 5 and 10ml bottles that won't go into my lipstick holder. I daren't count them all but my husband did go woah when he came into the room 🤣

Yeah, that's probably not going to happen with me. I appreciate perfume like I appreciate art, I either like it or I don't. I dont have the descriptive powers that some posters have. So if it's okay with you I'll mention a fragrance I'm wearing without giving an in-depth sniff report.

I'm only a lurker because I don't know much about perfume and haven't developed a keen interest (yet!).
With the Replica perfumes I found you really need to apply and wear to find where you are. They smell different from the bottle (usually not very interesting or nice), but once they settle on the skin it's a completely different scent. And unusual but in a pleasant way.

Of course, you don't have to. We don't have rules here!

That's so funny as I just put some,GG on after s break from it. Its one of my cozy bedtime scents.

I then changed my mind, as going put, and tried fugazzi vanilla haze which I'm very impressed with. I can finf fugazzi a bit full on as a house in general but I'm liking this.

All in all v pleased with the cult Beauty frag stocking as I liked the commodity milk and vanilla haze. On the fence re discothèque heathens. Not a fan of EM but managed to shift those.

Interesting them suggesting a fart perfume. I went down a BORNTOSTANDOUT rabbit hole and their Be My Cookie perfume has a skatole note in it … so yes they have made a fart perfume for people who hate generic perfumes and want to stand out www.fragrantica.com/perfume/BORNTOSTANDOUT/Be-My-Cookie-100081.html

That sounds vile. Fecal notes in perfumes are the worst. I still haven’t recovered from Sana Jardin Savage Jasmine - I think that’s the only time a perfume sample has been sniffed once and immediately taken right out of the house to the wheelie bin as I had to get it as far away from me as possible!

That’s convinced me that I need to stay away from BTSO. Fart perfume did make me laugh though 😁

Oh no! I got the BTSO discovery set and they're all lovely. My favourite is musc x 😊

There is such a thing as 'barnyard oud', barnyard being a euphamistic reference to fecal. I really don't understand why anyone would want to smell like shit!

i have this one, from ages ago, that I haven't tried in a while.

I have a love-hate thing with Replica. Some are insanely good - jazz club and afternoon delight. But they never seem to last particularly long. Afternoon delight in particular I don't think would make it through a whole afternoon.

So this is how I am getting on with the Libery kit from most favourite. Turn the Page is my winner for advent/kit find this year for me out of all that I bought and may lead to full bottle

Not sure yet, heavily leaning no. I seem to only like my tuberose bubblegumy. I am little uncertain for vanilla factory yet as I kept getting little smell from the tester paper passing by and I kept thinking something smells nice.

And that's another thing I am finding out about fragrance kits and advents. When I find one that I didn't know and I love it feels like a win. When I get a lot of likes or things that I already know I am still happy, but it doesn't feel as happy

I have not tried this one! I have 30ml of gold very like gypsy water and unfortunately very short lived and moss - le labbo bergamote 22 vibe but short lived well.

I had few samples of nest rose lychee with me on my last beach holiday and I used every last drop. Its very pretty, not one I am likely to purchase but will be very happy if it pops up in set. I just have few in pretty fresh floral group and don't need more

@MiaN its very fruity, there are fruity fragrances I much prefer though. I find some of the Commodity ones very chemically. I do like Moss but I only have a small sample.

I keep changing my mind about the newer Liberty scent kit, I’m hoping it sells out so the decision is taken out of my hands as I really don’t need it but some of them sound great.
