Diptyque eau capitale. Got this as a sample when I got Philosykos. Rose and patchouli, fine but I’m not huge fan. I prefer eau rose by Diptyque for a fresh green type of rose fragrance but florals aren’t my favourite notes usually. I’m having fun trying a different sample each evening though.

I agree with you, I had hair perfume Eau Capitale form Space NK advent and it was very strong - like perfume, but I did not enjoy it. I must prefer Eau Rose. Same with Delina - La Rose is much more my type the two other as it smells like fresh Rose.

I am enjoying Fico di Amalfi - the wrong season for it really and it is not very lasting but I am in mood for it.

Succunbed to the bricks and mortar HN nearby and got the frag cal, it was £155 with i think 10% discount and some points so not full price at least. First one still lost at sea and HN being crap, but id imagine I get a refund in time.

They must have really overstocked to have so many available in store and on line at this time, last year it sold out in a few days IIRC.

My cult beauty fragrance stocking has just turned up, no notice given! The make up stocking hasn't arrived 😕 I've just tried them all and so glad I like them 😁 Fugazzi vanilla haze is gorgeous 😍 I do also like the discotheque and commodity milk, I've tried the EM01 before so I'll be selling that as I know I don't like it.

I keep posting in the wrong forum, as there is fragrance chats in both! Moved to Ginger Biscuit for the afternoon - I do love this one.

I really feel the need to stop and smell the roses. And vanillas, and sandalwoods, and florals - it is so lovely to have such a good selection of wonderful smellies I can enjoy and appreciate. I need to stop searching for the next fix and give what I have well deserved attention!

This is me. Ive kind of accepted now as it stops me being addicted to worse things.

I do the same on vinted with second hand clothes, but better than buying new.

Ginger Biscuit smells like gingerbread to me - it's lovely and very long lasting, unlike other Jo Malone perfumes. I had 9ml and used it up before committing to full bottle.

I like taking time to love what I have, else it feels very mindless to me. I probably have more perfume than I can use in lifetime. This season I found tow new loves from in store sniffing, and one from the liberty set. I really enjoy advent season as I have not bought anything since the spring. But I do need a pause again.

It is amazing to be able to try so many different perfumes, but some of them deserve some dedicated time to use and appreciate.

December 2023 I only bought 1 perfume advent that year and that got me into perfumes - the first SpaceNK. 2024 I was buying a lot the whole year. It's only this year that I went through shopping session in March while abroad, and few summer travel sets pre holiday, and didn't buy anything for long after. Until advent season, so I was well ready for it.

I’ve never bought a fragrance AC before and am very tempted by the Harvey Nics. I know I will enjoy at least 8 of the perfume. I have that 25% off offer too.
But my Cult Beauty GWP arrived today and it’s so nice!
Not sure I can justify spending more…. Aargh! Choices, choices.

I delurked earlier to ask about the PS box, which I didn't get in time, although I've carried on with the subscription. I also got my fragrance stocking today and am very pleased with it. The EM 01 was the only one I'd had before. The Discotheque one is gorgeous but I'd imagine not everyone's cup of tea.

Today I am also wearing ginger biscuit. Office day today so it felt comfortable and not overpowering.

I did a Cult Beauty order yesterday to get the perfume GWP and am impatiently waiting for it to arrive. Not due for a couple of days. I am not good at waiting!

@MiaN I hadn't bought any fragrance since December when I bought a reduced Mon Guerlain gift set, I've made up for it since August though 🤣 I need to pause too. I think we've all been going mad 🤣

I thought it was JM, I went into the store the other day and tried the velvet rose and oud, I think it's gorgeous. I think I'll have to buy a 9ml of it.

I got out my Xerjoff bottles today to remind myself what they smell like. SOTD is Naxos which I love. I’ve decided that Erba Pura is going to be a room (or bin) spray

I think xerjoff resells well.

I say buy the advent too! They are excellent value and good intros. As it is perfume, you can also share the love if you have others in your house. 8 out of the lot is a good amount. I was running at 3 definitely but a backlog of others in the cupboard so I’m waiting until next year (or perhaps Easter? A perfume egg? )

agree on both. Naxos if fantastic, brave and I need to be in mood for it but it is really good. I am not remotely surprised that it is one of best rated on fragantica - 4.51 out of 5 with 16,181 votes. My other Xerjoff favourite is Torino 21. Erba Pura is sell or bin material to me too.

I am not sure that the space NK fragrance advent curator loves perfume as much as we do! She said that the byredo blanche is in their new packaging. They don't have new packaging, they have absolu version of the old one that have different cap.

I don’t think my Erba Pura is saleable. I did persevere with it a bit last winter and I’ve been spraying it around today to see if it’s less rude as a room spray. I love Torino 21 too and I like Alexandria
