Délices des Bois Veronique Gabai and Laundry day are keepers for me. Liberty set was my favourite this season

I think the Soki travel kit is due today, I was half way thinking of returning it as it was impulse purchase but then I feel I may like at least two...I wish they had samples to sell in Ireland or stocked them somewhere so I can test in store

If anyone is thinking about the Liberty Scent kit, there is a gwp with a £200 beauty spend at liberty, including the kits ( but not the AC). The gwp has a few perfumes, although I've not been able to make out which ones.

Well, soki's order wasn't meant to be. The external box it came was wet, the internal came open - only one of the travel sizes had package around it, I have no idea if the items are used or new and the set package was wet and damaged. I returned it in store. The box stank of cheap perfume so apart from feeling like this was someone else's return - it was really off putting and likely leaked during transport.

What is soki? Not heard of them before

Boots need to handle it. Soki is youtuber and has her own perfumes - 4 of them, and they are not that easy to get outside UK. Boots is currently carrying them, and had 4 travel sizes set for 117. It's someone's return imo, and not well packaged as one of the travel sizes was in wrapper the rest not but the smell in the box was very off-putting. I would only consider them if I see them in store and I can try but for now, I have lost interest

I’m going to resist the Liberty GWP, I’d would have got it if they had more of the Lisa Eldridge holiday collection.

SOTD is Cowboys, Heathens and the Santa Ana Winds. I was awake in the night and ordered the CB perfume stocking to get the 8ml with the BDAY15 code. I watched the Vogue unboxing linked in the BAC thread and have decided it’s definitely not for me despite having a full sized bottle.

Agree the GWP is not really worth it, especially after all the kits and ACs it looks quite weeny for £200 spend and the perfumes look to be micro.

Kilian Sacred Wood today. Quite liking it so far as a light, woody autumnal scent but I'm currently getting more cedar than sandalwood and no myrrh or incense; I hope those might come through later.

Sorry, I had a sample. It wasn’t that speedy 😁 I had put off buying the stocking as that was the only thing I wanted and I was still considering Vogue for the full size

letting go of - glossier you doux, father figure phlur, dedcool taunt, varyo mamajuju and 1 of the sandalwood tample. I tend to sell them for 3rd or 4th of the price, so if something is 80 I may ask for 20. They are going to go to the same person I am going to throw in few samples and 5ml of GHAG Miami shake as freebie. Now for the buyer, she will get all that for less then the cost of dedcool and I will get the enjoyment to know they are not going to waste, and I will have a good look at my samples to choose things that may appeal - so if feels good. I am not buying to sell, or do that often - I just do it usually once in the summer and around this time in the winter, but there is element of enjoyment of finding home for things I won't use and getting some money to go against other purchases.

There is no right or wrong way, but if you have build up things you won't use it is good to find them another home. I still have plenty to gift, for bathrooms and for the occasional outdoor bins the things that are stinky.

Jo Loves Amber Lime and Bergamot today. I love this. Very autumnal. Amber, woods and a bit of citrus. Lasts a good 6 hours on me.

I tend to pop them on vinted/ebay and price match to the lowest price on there (within reason), the unwanted ones either go to friends/family as freebies or end up in the tombola at work which is for charity (they seem to do one every few months). I quite enjoy the process of selling and of course any money in my ebay or vinted account is used to buy the next box or calendar to split up and sell!

Those are the ones I liked the most from the calendar (apart from Vyrao 🤢) 🤣 we obviously have very different tastes. Apart from, if I remember rightly, we both really like gris charnel? I tend to put the ones I don't like on vinted too and like @IDontHateRainbows i either price match or make it slightly less than the lowest price to hopefully get a quick sale. I'm not fussed about making profit, @OvaHere once said to me to just see it as getting a bit of money back, and that's what I do, it's better than it sitting unused in a drawer somewhere, I just want them to go to someone that will use them 😊 I love how you're giving someone such a great bargain, they're going to think christmas has come early 🩷

Tom Forde Lost Cherry, Orange Sanguine Atelier Cologne, Perfumes De Marley Delina La Rosee and Athalia, Chanel Chance Eau Tandre (both EDP and EDT) - I am sure I have some more but those are some that I can say for certain I love.

ginger biscuit Jo Malone, Lira, Penhaligons Babylon - some winter loves.

But why wear different perfumes when I can just stick with velvet aura from Rituals. Lol. i wore Jo Malone Sandalwood and Spiced Apricot today and I missed Velvet Aura.

You really have fallen hard for velvet aura!

My perfumerisms started December 2023, and while I had perfumes before never more then 10 in the same time. I always loved perfume, but usually had abut 5/6 bottles max. I bought my first fragrance advent - Space NK in December 2023 and my less then 10 bottles became history. I have not felt like wearing same perfume for full week since before that time! It really is a love for me at this point of time, it is just so smooth and comforting.

There's a note I really don't like in the dry down of this; it smells like wee! What a disappointment.

Byredo mojave ghost absolu tonight. Love it. I just had a hot bath before putting some on and it seems to smell even stronger dont know if warm clean skin makes a difference.

The two you dont like are my favorites! I sold room service and valaya as didn't like the scent profiles plus they have higher recsape value. Liked Ona Ona. Mamajuju and Sandalwood Temple ok but only just ok. The others I haven't tried yet. Laundry day sounds very citrussy from reviews.

Best kit by far and better than the disappointing ( for me) summer one.

The Discotheque scent from the CB stocking was a disappointment, don't like it at all. It's got a sort of...urinal smell. It's supposed to invoke the scent of an infamous LA discotheque so maybe that scans.

I like the Fugazzi Vanilla Haze Extrait but it's another take on MP Vanilla Powder, so slightly redundant in my collection.
