It doesn't suprise me as I reckon there must have been quite a few orders either from the regulars on this thread or lurkers... luckily mine arrived safe and sound on Saturday. I wouldn't like to be in the shoes of whoever is responsible for the glitch!

My Perfume Society box was unable to be delivered today, despite me being home. I wonder if it’s been recalled? I ordered last week so the delivery has been random. They appear to be part of the company who makes Ultrasun

Byredo gypsy water sample. I wasn’t keen on this before but trying it again I do really like the scent of it. To me it’s a soft lemon but then adapts into a clean woody scent with vanilla undertones. Subtle and lovely but quite ‘watery’ if that makes sense. And lasts about 5 seconds.

Same here, and my tracking details say it’s being returned to sender.

It’s quite annoying really as I genuinely wanted to buy the box but am put off doing so now as this is just a mess.

I’m late with my SOTD as I was going to choose something from PS when it was delivered. It’s now Dedcool Taunt from the SNK frag AC. It’s ok, not a love but not offensive so I may keep it in the car. It’s a decent sized bottle.

I’ve only just found it as I missed it when I opened the AC. I’m going to use the box to hide sweets in for Christmas, but I plan to display it next to the tree as a fake parcel/decoration then reveal its contents on Christmas Eve 😁

The courier has accepted a rebooking for tomorrow, we’ll see. Perhaps it will just be the autumn set that arrives

I'd imagine if you pay the full price they will gladly send it. I wonder how many are being recalled as some people on the other thread have received them today. I am lucky to have got mine on Saturday.

Oh I was happy to pay the full price, before all the chaos. But this puts me off them as a
company I suppose.

Having received the autumn subscription/samples I have to say it's not worth £22. Around 10 or so really small samples (1.5-2ml size), was ok as part of the unintentional 'deal' with the essence box but I certainly wouldn't be paying £22 for that alone.

Yes I may still reorder but probably not get the subscription. Not had any communication from them about this recall and whether they are just cancelling the whole order or will just take payment and resend? It just seems chaotic but I do still want the discovery set 😂

Kilian Smoking Hot today. Getting the Bourbon but not much apple. More of an evening than a daytime scent, but I do like it.

I had a discount when I joined the PFS a couple of months ago, I think it was 20%, so newbies could still get 20% off the box.

that's where I got to test it properly. I tested it few times in store and didn't get it.

I too find 1 or 1.5ml not enough to properly test perfume unless it's instant love or hate. I love buying kit/advents for this reason.

I like gypsy water a lot, not instant love but it grew on me. I have tried Commodity Gold and Tocca Collete - similar, green vanilla vibe perfumes but they are equally as poor longevity. I think this is the reality of delicate scents that don't overdose on molecule/synthetics. I just accept I will be reapplying.

Most of the time, I do too. I have sold things on local facebook group knowing they are very popular - like vanilla powder or delina but most I either use in bathroom, gift or if I really dislike use in outdoor bins.

I made some impulsive purchases lately, I need to stop buying now for some time and organise my things.

Speaking of green vanillas - turn the page by flora danica from liberty kit is lovely. Second time skin testing it - not full day wear, but it is one of my advent finds this year.

SOTE for me is crystal saffron by Matiere Premiere. A strong one so not for daytime

Not that similar but if you like jazz club you may also like liberty 1875, its sweet and smokey, heavy on the tuberose.

So I’ve woken up this morning and can still smell gypsy water a little! I tested it by over spraying more than I usually do. I’m literally a 1-2 spritz type of girl usually. But hmm, I really do like this one. Which is funny as I totally discounted it the first few times I tried it. My samples almost finished but I think I’d consider getting a bigger size, maybe not a fb but if I could get a 10ml to test more I’d be quite happy.
