What do you think of these wedding dresses?

Micro wedding 16 including us. My 2nd marriage (I didnt wear a wedding dress first time and regretted it)
Im 49 so wondering if im too old for this. I’m in a very fashiony job so i think im very fashion conscious and dress well. I’m a size 12.
I’ve ordered a whole load of dresses online and this was the first to come. My mum loved it but she would say a bin bag suited me. I’m worried it’s a younger persons dress.

I’m not keen, it looks like some kind of Disney princess dress. I think you could find much nicer.

I agree with the others. You need something plainer and classier.

I don't like it. Nothing to do with age- tbh, I don't like white wedding dresses generally but that's not nice.

Thank you all. I liked it on but it’s the first dress I’ve tried. When the other dresses come and if I like them on I’ll post on here and will you all help me? It’s a tiny wedding as I say and I’m not telling many people but will announce it on my socials the next day so I don’t have a huge amount of people I can ask for honest opinions (apart from some of the guests - but then that spoils it on the day if they see me beforehand!)

@Mistyglade i ordered 5 dresses ans this was the first to come. I’ll upload more pics as they arrive if I like them on.

I'm not madly keen on it, but I don't think it is because you are too old for it.

I think, with something like a wedding dress, you have to try on lots to find 'the one'. Partly because you want it to be special, but also partly because it isn't something you usually wear, so you don't know what suits you until you've had a really good look around, and literally see how they feel on you.

I’m not keen as you can see the white bra cups really obviously. Were they that obvious in real life? Even if they weren’t I’d be concerned they be obvious in photos (the flash might enhance them).

Where are you getting married?

I don't like any of them.

I went with Hope & Ivy for my second wedding and the plus side was it was budget friendly 🤣🤣

Afraid don't like them at all. They are not too old for you , just as the other comments said not classy and I think you can find better. x

@IHaveAlwaysLivedintheCastle at a local country club hotel. As I say it’s a tiny wedding, the registrar is coming to the hotel. We will have a meal and then go to a private cocktail bar for a few drinks and we leave to go on holiday at 4am the next day so no night do with extra guests. Just the 16 of us will be there. The day will last approx 1-9pm I’m thinking. We are staying at the hotel the night of and leaving for the airport from there.

Dress 2 is the standout winner for me. Chic, timeless classy gown. I’d wear it.

@Mistyglade that was the first one I saw and was ordering. I thought about wearing it with one of those bridal capes. The other dresses I added to the order just for choice of styles. I’ve got 5 weeks and stressing. 😥

2 is my favourite as well. Followed by 4

Is dress 2 unlined? I think I can see the seam which goes down to the front split, which (to me) makes it look cheap rather than classy.

Edit: it looks like it’s lined to the waist (good) but unlined below (less so.)
