Micro wedding 16 including us. My 2nd marriage (I didnt wear a wedding dress first time and regretted it)
Im 49 so wondering if im too old for this. I’m in a very fashiony job so i think im very fashion conscious and dress well. I’m a size 12.
I’ve ordered a whole load of dresses online and this was the first to come. My mum loved it but she would say a bin bag suited me. I’m worried it’s a younger persons dress.

Number 1 is awful. I like number 2.

2 is my favourite as well. Followed by 4

Same here @Circles2squares

2, 4 and 5 require a very slim body shape, because the styles will be unforgiving, if there's lumps and bumps. 2 is lovely but it reminds me very much of all the prom dresses that I see on the youngsters - just in different colour. 4 is way too low cut and 5 is overly fussy. I like 3, but it just feels a bit ordinary, there's not much 'wow' factor for me. Have you thought of going for a ivory, champagne or even a blush colour? White doesn't suit many people, it can make a person look 'washed out'.

Not sure if you’ve already looked here, but Coast have a very good (and varied) selection of wedding dresses. In fact, my SIL got her wedding dress from there when she married my brother almost 15 years ago. Cost her less than £200 and it was such a beautiful, understated and elegant dress. She loved it and looked amazing in it.

Hi @Circles2squares. Have you heard of Wed2Be? They are nationwide wedding dress stores and lots of wedding dresses for lower budgets. Just wanted to share with you as they have loads of lovely ones in case any of the ones you’ve ordered you aren’t happy with. I really enjoyed going and could try on loads of styles they had some beautiful dresses in the shop and saves you having to return loads. I got mine from one 😊 you can see styles on their website too x
