Micro wedding 16 including us. My 2nd marriage (I didnt wear a wedding dress first time and regretted it)
Im 49 so wondering if im too old for this. I’m in a very fashiony job so i think im very fashion conscious and dress well. I’m a size 12.
I’ve ordered a whole load of dresses online and this was the first to come. My mum loved it but she would say a bin bag suited me. I’m worried it’s a younger persons dress.

I must admit the others are all big no-no’s aside from 4 perhaps. 2 is classic. I really like the back line, so elegant.

I’m also not keen. What is your budget and what sort of look are you going for? I’m sure Mumsnet can find you something better.

Go with your heart and how you picture yourself looking. I’d say at that venue a sleek simple gown would be more appropriately than a lacy princessy shaped frock. You’ll be fine. I’m excited for you!

I like 4, especially the back. The only problem I have with 1 is the length of the skirt looks odd, I prefer wedding dresses to sweep the floor. Not the slit in the skirt option. The pinky one is fine but the waist looks loose on the model. Last one just NO!

My budget is up £400. I’d want a UK seller just for the ease of returning with free postage.

In that case, I would head to Net a Porter and see what turns up. I feel, as you are a fashion person, something a little more unusual might suit you more. Something that felt really special.

I like 5 It’s very feminine and I think there is a trend towards long sleeve and lace similar to Catherine princess of Wales era. My ext choice is 4 which is a bit sleeker. They all look as if you may need special shape wear/bra or no bra Does that work for you?

They look cheap and like they’ve been made in china. What material is it? It looks plasticky like the kind of thing a toddler’s play dress would be made from.

I love the first one! If it's a winter wedding I think it would be beautiful 😍 Also like number 3. You can get opinions here but everyone has different tastes. If you like it and it looks amazing on then you should go for it!

Dress 4 is my preference.
I think dress 2 looks a bit tacky and uncomfortable but that’s probably because I have a hatred of side split skirts.
