I am going to go for Ingenious Ginger today. Not working near shopping area has been strange, I can't have endless sniff sessions :)

The ex nihilo discovery set is arriving today so I'll delay wearing anything just yet. Anyone familiar with the brand and have any recs?

I have the Hedonist - I I’ve it- spicy and woody but not too heavy. I’ve been eyeing up the set for Spiky Muse.

Liberty have 10% off at the moment- I’ve been looking at North Bondi by Ouai as a blind but. Anyone got opinions on this one. I like the St Bart’s as a few on here do IIRC.

I have North Bondi travel. It's not at all like Miami Nectar or st Bartz, very nearly nothing close to skin scent with poor longevity. I will use the travel bit won't repurchase

It's very gentle and pleasant, just too weak

Jo by jo loves today. Fresh and zingy grapefruit scent, settles down nicely. Lovely warm weather fragrance

Hedonist sounds up my street, I'll definitely be trying it

Hasn't arrived yet so I've gone for jpg la belle again. This is becoming a favorite, I'm not getting sick of it and it had lasting power. Not getting nose blind either. Gorgeous and sweet for spring.

Discovery set landed, went with outcast blue ti start. Lovely complex scent with some saffron in there which I love, not sure what else but it's a good start. Won't try more than one a day from this set so I can make the newness last.

I have used the Amouage Guidance from the Harrods advent calendar this week, absolutely gorgeous and I have received loads of positive compliments.

I haven't but I would love to try fleur narcotique by Ex Nihilo. My son likes the hedonist a lot.

I did wear North Bondi and I stand by my initial opinion. Maybe in very very hot weather it will preform better. It's lovely, but in order to smell it off my clothes I literally need to put my nose in the fabric, it does not project at all. It's very pretty but barely there.

Maybe others will have better luck, or if the weather is very hot - but it's weaker then their body mist.

Haeckels 'Pegwell' today - super fresh, vegetal/marine with lots of herbs, leans a little masculine but good for something bright and springy, but not floral or citrus.

I was just browsing TKMaxx online and they've put a load of perfumes on there. Spotted some Jo Malone and quite a few Tom Ford.

I wore this today, for an 8 mile beach walk, because I am Captain Obvious!

And weirdly, part of the walk was to Pegwell Bay, after which the Haeckel's scent is named. MN perfumista thread imitates life 😀

Nest Indigo today. It’s a figgy fruity black tea. Similar to Dear Polly but sweeter and less smokey

Funny you mentioned Dear Polly as I tried this today for the first time, having picked up a 10ml sample size in a kit. It's lovely, I do like tea scents and haven't tried Vilhelm before but always wanted to.

I have also tried ambre chromatique by Maison Crivelli. Wasn't sure at first, as his scents are not easy to like at first in my opinion, but tend to grow on you, and I'm not historically an amber fan but I'm trying these more for the 'olfactory experience' and to widen my perfume horizons. I have to say now I've let it settle in I am quite enjoying it. It's ambery (obviously!) and smokey and definitely giving it a run for its money!

Testing a few this morning, the other one I have put on is Herrera very good girl elixir. This has more mass market appeal but is lovely and fruity, in a cherry/berry way.

They are all nice in different ways - I'm going out for Sunday Lunch in a bit and will probably wear just one so I'm not smelling like a confusing bunch of randomness - I will have a hard time deciding which to pick.

Decided to give Dedcool aura from the space nk edit a try but not really feeling it. I say this a lot but it does smell like an air freshener to me. Out of the two edits that I bought around the same time, the cult beauty fruity and fresh has been by far my favourite one. Smaller samples but cheaper cost wise and I’ve found some loves in there

It’s a scrubber. Kept trying to sniff to see if it settles but it’s just not pleasant to my nose. I’ve seen people describe it as a sweet gourmand which is so weird to
me as I can only smell synthetic floral marine notes. Another I’ll be passing on from the edit. I sold on the baby powder smelling phlur missing person and the diptyque papier which I knew I didn’t like before purchasing (these two almost covered what I paid for it as I used vouchers) and considering giving glossier you to my niece as she will love it. I like and will keep the Miami nectar (the antless one!), Miami shake and witchy woo. Oh and I hated brown flowers so will give that away too 😂

Ive had the dedcool listed on ebay 2 weeks no takers despite being cheapest price. Brown flowers I didn't get on with and I haven't tried the diptyque yet.
Miami shake and Miami nectar I thought were ok. Witchy I've tried before, it's a but meh.
Glossier I sold on as not really into these skin scent types.
It's all fun to try and even more so when the package arrives, at least. I expect I'll make my money back and keep the 2 miamis so no loss. Plus I got £15 worth of ndulge points.

Yes, that’s exactly it, it’s been fun to try! On the other hand the cult beauty edit, ive already bought back ups to take with me of the nest indigo, M01+ mandarin and jo loves

@IDontHateRainbowsoh wow! The resale of value of some of the frags is quite good though and I’ve picked my own extras off Vinted. I only got the fresh fruity one and was very tempted by the woody and sweet

SOT Evening is Rouge Smoking by BDK - love this cherry scent.

I also sampled Lazy Sunday Morning by MM, it just smells of laundry powder to me so I don't think it's my thing.

@IDontHateRainbows I love Rehab from Initio. It's beautiful and very unusual. I am also tempted by Atomic Rose.
