Hello all. Been reading with interest :) mind if I a join? I'm no expert but I love perfume.

Today wearing Valentino Voce viva. I like it but it's too heavy for spring, but I don't really have any light perfumes at the moment. I love chance eau tendre and Jo Malone peony and blush suede but don't own then currently. My all time favourite perfume is ysl in love again, which I was so excited about when they re-released it, but it reminds me far too much of being 18 and getting up to no good.

We're on a big budget here which is a shame for me perfume wise because I used to love trying new perfumes and finding the perfect one and then growing tired of it and obsessing about finding the next perfect one.

Anyway I'll enjoy reading through. I love spring and summer scents

Have you tried some of the Zara perfumes? Zara Apple Juice is supposed to be a dupe for chance eau tendre but much much more affordable. Also look at the “Zara emotions” range which were done by Jo Malone and some of which are dupes of her well known perfumes.

Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder today. I keep returning to this one. It's a lovely vanilla scent that lasts all day and I find it wearable all year round .

It's not great if you are on a budget but if you like chanel chance eau tendre I think you would like byredo mojave ghost. Maybe one day!

So thought I’d try and use another from the space nk scent edit and chose Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar only to find an ant floating inside the bottle 😂 I did spray it before I realised, it’s very tropical. Pina colada vibes!

Oh wow - an ant got in? I'd be getting Space NK to send a new one.
Not tried that one yet as I'm pacing myself on the space nk box, but I love pina colada as a cocktail and I'm getting into fruity scents as a change from the wintry gourmands, so I am intrigued to try it.

Definitely, been eyeing up byredo for a while! Does that one last well? Have heard mixed reviews on longevity

Yes I’ve sent cs an email with photos of it so will see what they say! They’ve been great in the past to be fair. It is giving me toilet freshner vibes a little but think it would work better on a very hot day

I'm not sure any Byredo last that long - there is an absolu version but it's not that much better and the scent profile is similar but not the same.

You can get the 8ml or 12ml mojave ghost off ebay or other marketplaces still as they were in some of the advent calendars, may be worth a punt if the full bottle is too much?

If you like Maiami Nectar you may love Ouai St Barts hair and body spray. It's fantastic imo and I love and have both

Zara apple juice have intense version. I don't think it's good dupe for Eau Tandre but it's that type. Even the intense version lasts very little bit with that price you can reapply.

I have no problem with longevity of Mojave Ghost original boy it's common complain

4160Ts Sexiest Scent today. Not quite sure what prompted me to reach for this one today, it's more suited to sunny summer days than the chilly fog which greeted me this morning! Nice light combination of vanilla and citrus.

Hermes Un Jardin sur Le Nil for me today. Love this, it’s light in scent profile but lasts well and I think it’s wearable while being a bit unusual. Just an all round classy perfume.

I’ve used the Ouai body wash in that scent and agree it’s lovely @MiaN

Space nk have said they’ll send me a replacement for Miami nectar so that’s good. Here’s a photo of the little guy that met his demise in a fruity tropical haven

Well, if I was an ant it's not a bad way to go....

I tried the Miami nectar and like it, it definitely fits in to my 'fruity summery sweet' category of scents alongside things like sunset hour and miami shake.

Plus I do love Pina colada

I’m loving Miami Nectar (I also love Ouai St Barths @MiaN)! I was a bit surprised at the price of a full bottle (£126) as I had Ellis Brooklyn down as a more mid-range brand for some reason.

For 50ml that is! Not cheap. But if I have to choose one of both based on scent it will still be St Bartz, even if Miami Nectar was not as expensive.

I love Myth and Florist from this brand too and looking forward trying the new guava based when it comes out.

Wearing gucci guilty love edition, the lasted one. Very soft, lilac patchouli musk amber. I like it more then I thought. I would, it is very polite professional office friendly to my nose. Very forgettable too

Sunset hour us supposed to be like summer sister of baccarat rouge. I have tested it few times but that comparison puts me off buying travel

I’ve been looking with the Ouai scents. I think St Barts came in a few beauty boxes and I like it too.

Our Boots has them in stock but the testers are always AWOL so waiting for an offer or a reason!

Sotd mumbai noise and vanilla 28 , love this combination.
I had originally gone for crystal saffron but it's a bomb, and I'm on an office day so don't want to announce myself too loudly!

The dreaded eczema has raised its head again, not as bad as before but I have itching on my arms, I never had this , ever, before I got massively into fragrance, so I think I must have given myself an allergic reaction of sorts. It doesn't seem particular to a certain scent either. Damn, for once on my life I thought I had a benign hobby/ addiction/ indulgence.

Dean Street is too ... nothing for me. North Bondi better, I have travel size. Not amazing. I have not tried Melrose Place, I heard it's similar to Chance Eau Tandre. St Bartz body misr is the one that is standout for me
