Le Labo Rose 31 for me today - like the slight floral notes in this one.

Hi perfumistas, I have a load of samples I’d be happy to post to someone for free if you’d like to pm me if you’d like them! No one I know personally would appreciate them. They’ve all been spritz before in varying degrees so can’t confirm how much there is but they all range between 1-2ml each. They include Penhaligons, Diptyque, Byredo, Ariana Grande, LBTY and a few others

Just rediscovered Mushroom Forest by Foras.
My daughters gave me a small bottle last year and I misplaced it. Found it in a clear up & I am now obsessed. Its my new fav.
I get little sniffs and it makes me so happy to be so gorgeously scented.

Bonus as its a realtively small bottle I will take it away with me and it will be the scent of my up coming holiday.

I had my space nk fragrance edit delivered today but haven’t had a chance to unbox it as been busy with the kids. Want to take my time admiring each one so will need to wait until bed time. Excited though 😃

@RobinEllacotStrikeI haven’t ever smelt a fragrance with mushroom as a note! How intriguing…

'Bean' by änd today - so lovely, am wondering about getting a 10ml bottle (or going all in for one of their 4 x 10ml boxes with a few others).

So I had a little play with the set. Tried witchy woo and soft spot. Witchy woo is a strange one! I initially didn’t like it upon first spray.. then it settled down and it was really pleasant and smelt like bubblegum almost? Weird! But each time I sniff, it’s changed again lol I do like the scent profile though (spicy, woody, incense) so will give it a proper try again. Phlur soft spot isn’t for me. It smells like baby powder which I don’t like as I’m not keen on powdery scents so will be passing this on

Off to sit on a train for a few hours, so nothing too strong. Vanilla immortale by zara ( mat prem vanilla powder dupe) + mumbai noise.

I'm staying with relatives so taking a little bag of samples to gift them, love doing this and sharing the perfumey love!

Today is Jo by Jo loves from the CB edit. Huge hit of grapefruit upon intial spray but has mellowed down a lot. Nice enough citrus scent but not something I’d repurchase

That sounds right up my street, I might have to get hold of a sample!

Ladies anything from Montale or Mancera, Sisley or the Merchant of Venice I should try? Good deals to be had on holidays

Phlur somebody wood today. Unintentionally layered with ds durga debaser which I had on earlier and lingered, good combo.

The samples I took to the relatives were well received... escentric guaiac wood and commodity moss for uncle, verticaloud and memo marfa for auntie. Beats taking wine n chocs!

JHAG miami shake. Notes are strawberry, ice cream and vanilla with musk. It’s ok, nothing special. Slightly synthetic strawberry note upon first spraying but has settled down and more creamy vanilla. Will use up the 5ml I have but won’t repurchase this. Lots of these fragrance houses have been coming out with strawberry scents as it seems like the current trend. I tested phlur strawberry letter a while back in store and also wasn’t overly loving that either

Ellis Brooklyn Sun Flower. Ok for hot weather but way too forgettable

I’m not sure I can pick out the mushroom but it really is a delightful scent. I have a few from this house (based in my town) & they are all special & interesting scents.

SOTD is Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius - as it is a nice sunny day I was in the mood for a more summery scent - and I love this - citrus, fresh, with neroli coming through. Was in the CB fresh and fruity edit which I am loving.

Jo Malone 'Orange Marmalade' today - I love this so much, a fresh orange start and lovely soft woods drydown. Really (mildly) annoyed that it's limited edition, though hoping they might bring it back again later down the line - in the meantime, would be happy if anyone had any other orange/woods reccs? Ffern Summer 24 was a decent orange spice if I remember right, but also limited edition.

Goldfield and banks sunset hour. Really impressed with this lovely scent, can see it becoming a summer favorite

Somebody wood by phlur has citrus and wood, not sure if it's orange per se definitely citrus opening.

I find a lot of phlur quite weak, poss my noseblindness, but this is one of the few I've liked.

Space nk do a 10ml

Histoires de Parfum 1725 today, lavender and anise with what's supposed to be citrus top notes but I can't tell they're there. Another men's one but I think it's fairly unisex really. Supposedly inspired by Casanova!

@potplantsinparadise I have Azemour les orangers which is exactly what you describe. It smells like freshly squeezed oranges with a lovely woody base. You could try Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri, lovely orange opening but disappears faster than a kiss in a nightclub!

Orange Marmalade is still available so maybe they changed thier mind. I have it and love it and it lasts surprisingly well. Mismatch with the name as it's not like Marmalade at all, it's gorgeous aromatic citrus

Tauer l'Eau today. Never met a Tauer scent I didn't like (with the possible exception of the oddly carrotty Carillon pour un ange).
