Not too sure about the oil but one of my dds will take it off my hands if I don't like it !

Happy with today, but not very good in using lip products myself. Nice to get, but not something I am likely to fully use up or buy myself.

I love lip products so I'm v happy with this! I checked the prices on Space NK website and they are £23 for the lip balm and £20 for the lip oil!

The lip balm is excellent. Gorgeous texture and no scent. Great, easy to use packaging too - good nozzle and easy to squeeze out the required amount. Some, like Naturium can be quite thick to coax out. Nice & glossy. I'm definitely keen to try different shades now.

The lip balm is fab. I have a mini of the brown sugar one. It's great you all (well most of you!) got a lip oil too. I've never tried anything from Rare Beauty.

I'm away from home at the moment so just pulled out the relevant advent boxes and took them with me! I love the texture of the Summer Friday balm, feels very soothing and the colour is great - it's defining without adding brightness. Will try the lip oil later when we're off to the pub.

I tried both, I like both to be honest but the summer fridays is very sweet and could end up making me crave sweets. Not good thing when I am trying to eat healthier!

@bigdecisionstomake I watched a few TikTok videos before I used it and apparently the key is rubbing it vigorously between your hands until it turns white, then applying to your towel dried hair after shampooing. I didn’t use conditioner and I brushed it through after four minutes then just blow dried it. My hair felt like it does after leaving the hairdresser.

Thanks @Gowlbag I'll give that a go and see how it works for me - just got to be brave!

I'm very happy with today's lip products and will use them both.
I've also read reviews by people with afro hair on yesterday's K18. Sounds like it works well for us too particularly if you have damaged hair so I'll try this at some point too.

I sold off the Summer Fridays balm already as I didnt think it was for me. I kept the Rare Beauty lip oil, so that was mine today (plus my offering from JL calendar).

I'm a lurker and living vicariously through you all and just came on to say I LOVE the summer Fridays balm. but anyone that's tried the rare beauty, does it also tingle for you? I've had it twice in different beauty edits and I just hate the feeling so given to family members both times. It doesn't feel like a minty 'plumping' type of tingle to me, just really unpleasant. Wondering if it's just me and it's an allergy to something...

I'm not too keen on the Rare lip oil. It is minty and tingly and also very thin. It barely lasts on my lips. Re lip oils, I prefer the Vieve one which is comfortable, thicker and lasts.
I don't notice any sweetness with the Summer Fridays balm. I don't notice any scent or taste which is a huge plus point for me.

Love todays lip balm, seems to have the right balance of shine and moisture, plus is smells lovely. I sold the lip oil as knew it wasn't for me (v popular in selling groups if anyone else wants rid).
Wasn't sold on the hair mask yesterday but tried it again today and it seems better. Will persevere and try again tomorrow as it seems to have a lot of fans.
I was curious to try the face wash, particularly after CH said she'd never do her own skin care line as she couldn't compete with existing brands Unfortunately I hate the scent (and I usually love a cleanser with a strong smell...hello Elemis) and it left my skin really dry.
So far really pleased though!!

Will regift the SdJ spray. Looking forward to trying the hair stuff though my hair is short and wavy so it might be a bit much?
The CH cleanser I really want to love, but I do find it a bit drying. Think I'll use it when I want to use a heavier night cream.
Love the Summer Fridays balm, I use them anyway and they're all great so delighted to get this one for the stash. Have been using the Rare Beauty one out and about today - I'm also getting the tingle, it isn't unpleasant, just... weird. But it really isn't what I'd describe as an oil, it's drying out fairly quickly on my lips. It's fine for me to use for the colour in conjunction with another balm or gloss, but it's not something I'll repurchase.
First time I've had this advent calendar and honestly feel it's good value for money even so far.

I like. Another full size, we have but had any travel or mini sizes yet! 5 days 6 full sizes and few hits for me already

Today’s couldn’t come soon enough! Washing my face yesterday morning and I noticed those stretched out lines you get from dehydration and dry skin above my eyebrows! The type that look like you’ve pulled the line up and sellotaped it down for dramatic effect. Hopefully this will help with that because I can’t say it’s a particularly fetching look…

I’m impressed so far! Day five and no travel sizes and everything has been of a good quality.

Is anyone else feeling like they gone blind when searching for the numbers - it's driving me nuts!

Also although I can't remember everything that's in this calendar, I do feel like there isn't much joy on opening it this year. It feels a little transactional and just a way of getting a load of products.

I'm actually considering not getting a luxury beauty calendar next year 😱

Great timing for a hydrating serum - the central heating at work leaves me feeling like a raisin by the end of the day. Tried various Medik8 products but not this one so far. This is by far the best run of products in a calendar so far I can remember, not one DoD yet.
