Serums are always harsh on my skin, but will give this a go. Maybe not every day.

delighted with the serum, am hoping it helps. I’m finding everything I put on seems okay at first but by afternoon I’m dry as a crisp

Really hoping I don't like todays; I'm a big Medik8 fan but my bank balance isn't. I currently use a hyaluronic serum from The Ordinary which has a much more palatable price point

Looking forwards to trying the Medik8 B5 today - I use a medik8 retinol and currently am using up their sunscreen (won't repurchase that, prefer the ceravé one). Not tried much else from them but as others have mentioned it's the season of central heating and parched skin so help is needed!

Very happy with today's Medik8 offering. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise but it's a really lovely serum, not too thick and is absorbed easily.

I’ve been delighted with the calendar overall so far. Today’s is great, a real treat item.

A few years ago I had that “transactional” lack of joy feel with my calendar but definitely don’t this year. I really look forward to opening it but did take a year off buying them. I think as I’ve not brought any products this year it’s a bit more of a treat. I’ve used lots up so don’t have tons of things stashed anymore.

I don’t think I can use it on my chemo skin as it might burn it off 😀. What I really would like is some bath or show products so I can spoil myself with a face mask etc and a good thick skin cream,

I'm the opposite. I genuinely can't remember what's in the calendar (even though I constantly read the contents online up to late November!) and every day feels like treat! I can see why I picked SpaceNK and considered the best by far.

I'm not enjoying work right now (understatement 😔) and this has really been a boost.

I'm saving my whole Harrods fragrance until the 19th when I'm off work for Xmas and will be choosing a scent for a night out on the 20th.
Cult Beauty I'm now saving for January treats while I look for a new job!

I'm hooked, honestly I can see myself buying again next year but I need to be better at giving products away too. I'll never get through them all!

I think that might be the issue, I've bought masses of products this year, enough that I'm a deluxe member at spacenk!

Maybe next year I'll have a break from the advent calendar and then it will feel more special. Or I'll try and reduce what I spend in 2025 and have a year of using up my enormous stash.

I only bought 1 fragrance advent last year and this year the beauty feels like a huge treat. Year break is great. I also only buy when I need products the rest of the year, I don't buy to try if it's better then what I have

my creams pilled today so a bit gutted as the only change was the lovely serum ☹️

This serum was one I was looking forward to trying so really happy I’ve got it now. Used it this morning after washing my face (actually like the cleanser which surprised me, I’m always a bit ambivalent about a cream cleanser), serum went on beautifully, moisturiser went on top nicely too.

I wonder what we'll get tomorrow. We've had perfume, skincare, make up & haircare so far. The double lip day was my favourite.

I just tried the serum and it feels lovely! So are we meant to cleanse, add serum then moisturise? I'm never quite sure what I'm meant to do with all these lotions and potions and in what order!

Do we think we need '6 drops'?? It seemed like quite a lot and I had to rub the excess into my hands!

@Ilikeyoursleeves It’s supposed to be cleanse, toner, serum, moisturiser. I often skip the toner part (a sin, I’m sure)
Though with all the various serums I get confused as to which order the serums are supposed to go in, if indeed that matters.

Fabulous day today. I woke up about an hour ago & ended up going down to open my AC. The blusher was one of the products that I was most keen to try.

Oh well, I guess my streak had to end sometime - DDoD today as I will use neither of these.

Oh another double day!! These are things I'd never think to buy or try so I will def try them out. I want to use stuff I get this year and not stash it all.

So far I've not recognised a single thing in the calendar despite looking through the contents carefully a few months ago 😳🤣 Loving it all so far!

I would never buy a cream blush, but probably because I wouldn’t be good at applying it. I prefer to sweep a bit of powder over my cheeks. I will give it a go, though.

I don’t think I’ll use the highlighter.

@Ilikeyoursleeves I checked the contents many times, and even watched the unboxing video, and still genuinely have no idea what’s in it! I really can’t remember at all.

I’m lurking over on the Liberty calendar thread as I took ages to decide which one I was getting - I definitely think we’re winning over here so far

Today’s blush was one of the products that convinced me to buy the calendar so I’m hoping it’s good! I like a strong blush… I’m currently using a lipstick for blush then setting it with a powder blush on top. Hopefully this will remove the need to do that 😳

I’ll try the highlighter but I do get the feeling it’s going to be one of those visible from space affairs!

Really happy with today's products, getting two in one box feels like a real treat. Have never tried anything from Chantecaille and it's a great way to do things like that without all the individual splashing out you'd have to do. This calendar's not cheap but it does really feel like value for money so far.
I ran out of moisturiser yesterday so also had to cheat and open a later day's box to find some - I won't spoil it though and will save my thoughts for the right day!!
