@Netcam hi, no Kaia cardigans that I can see in the sale

faustina · 22/12/2024 14:45

@OftenOrange - yes, I was also hoping there would be some bedlinen in the sale but there's none at all! Maybe they will add some later?

Stoic123 · 22/12/2024 14:57

@ScottishMouse - hope all works out ok.

@OftenOrange - I am a convert to Toast linen. Bought one set then found I wasn't using my second set so 'had to' replace that with Toast too.

@Snowyowl78 thank you for the tag giving me a heads up- for once it couldn't have come at a more convenient moment- I had a spare 20 minutes before going out to lunch!
In true Fudge style I totally over ordered! Placed two orders with a whole selection of items. Thankfully the black denim pinafore was in the sale and that's one of my wanted items.

I am actually going away for a couple of weeks from the 27th; I've taken a gamble and paid extra for Evri delivery as I figured they might actually work more hours around Christmas. One order has already dispatched- bizarrely in two parcels- so here's hoping! Otherwise I'll have to drive the unwanted items to Cheltenham to return them the day after I return as I reckon that will be the last possible day to take them back!!

ToastCosILoveIt · 22/12/2024 16:55

Greetings Toast lovers. I have been quiet on these threads for a while, too busy at work i think and, dare I even say it, I think I may have lost a a little of the Toast love…:)

Despite this, I clocked the sale at around 4pm and managed to spend a bit, including the velvet bedspread and the etched check linen dress and the matching bag. Also a couple of dresses and the full price organic cord pleat front trousers which have been hanging round in my bag for a while.

I also took a chance on the Fisherman’s cotton trousers in mango but ordered the 12 and think I may need to go back and get the 10. Does anyone else have them and can comment on sizing?

Happy shopping all!

PeonyBlush10 · 22/12/2024 17:25

I bought the alpaca button tank in grey for the sale price £115 but it looks as though they’ve removed it from the sale almost immediately as it’s back on the main site full price (£195). Bit odd. My transaction at the sale price was successful, so I’m hoping it will be dispatched without issue. Has anyone else experienced similar ?

VivienneDelacroix · 22/12/2024 17:26

I've never worked out how to join Kindred. When I search Kindred it takes me to an explanation of what it is, but doesn't tell me how to sign up.
I guess I'll wait until the rest of us are key into the sale. I've currently got £2400 worth in my basket, ready to see if any prices drop for this I actually love, not things I get persuaded to buy because they're slightly cheaper! (I still have a beautiful pair of dungarees and culottes that I've never worn after sales buying! They're too big, but I told myself I'd probably fill out in peri!).

PeonyBlush10 · 22/12/2024 17:27

Hi@ToastCosILoveIt good to have you back. I always enjoy reading your posts.

Watchingyouwatchingme · 22/12/2024 17:30

So frustrated. Despite numerous purchases this year and my post pass, I am still not considered worthy of ‘Kindred’ status.

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 22/12/2024 17:36

@PeonyBlush10 It’s still in the sale, under women’s sweaters. You need to use the sale page to look, if you put it in search it comes up full price.

Same. :(

AmethystMoonShine · 22/12/2024 17:46

Thank you @Snowyowl78

I hope both @ScottishMouse and @oddandelsewhere feel better soon. Sorry to hear you’re both unwell/recovering.

I’ve also ordered the onyx dress. I ordered the thin crinkle cotton blue dress too. Then a few pairs of denim trousers which I imagine I’ll return as me and Toast trousers don’t work well together often. The stripey socks and a loop back set in charcoal and the dark green to see which colour I like best and whether they even fit.

Not masses I’m interested in so far. Hoping they’ll add further lines at some point.

Ahhh, thanks for explaining. It seems obvious now !!

JJkate · 22/12/2024 17:58

@ToastCosILoveIt hello, yes they run v big, I'm a standard 8 usually and needed a 6 in these.

Stravaig · 22/12/2024 17:58

Enjoying everyone's sale reports 😍

Stravaig · 22/12/2024 18:02

You know, Toast, you'd generate more social media buzz for your brand if we could all actively participate in the excited sales shopping chat at the same time. Bit of a miscalculation there.

Just applying some psychological tactics on behalf of non-Kindred folks :D

WaveringAverter · 22/12/2024 18:06

My order is in as well, and I've not been restrained 😬

Wide leg corduroy jumpsuit in charcoal

The Jessa dungarees in Indigo

Wool flannel tie front grey culottes

Loop back jersey sweater in green

Textured cotton poplin wrap shirt

i'm quite pleased because some of those I've tried on and decided that I would look out for them in the sale and I always wanted to try the culottes but they were just too expensive at full price.

Watchingyouwatchingme · 22/12/2024 18:09

Totally agree with you @Stravaig

I wonder if they realise how many customers they upset with their strange, unfathomable, ‘Kindred’ status.

I placed my 11th order with them since January, just three days ago. Hiw much more do they want !!

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 22/12/2024 18:15

Has anyone got the cotton hemp denim smock? Dithering over size and whether it will be too thick / stiff.

@AFingerofFudge @Countmeout @AmethystMoonShine @applecatchers36 @Bailiwitch @BettinaInDenmark @Bimblesalong @faustina @IlovePond @MiracleToast @mizu @Netcam @neveradullmoment99 @OftenOrange @ScottishMouse @Stoic123 @Stravaig

Thanks for the link - unfortunately it only gets me to the bygone "Faded summer sale" also. I hope some stuff is left when I can finally get in ;)

Poplinskirt · 22/12/2024 18:42

I've said this before but a good few Kindred folk often feel annoyed as the newer stuff gets added later as they feel they jumped the gun and many report never wearing sale stuff.
Nothing at all I want or need and I've twitched too early previously Grin
I never wore 2 dresses I bought last year and sold them
Hang on non Kindred folk !

IlovePond · 22/12/2024 18:43

@VivienneDelacroix - unfortunately you have to be invited to Kindred and no one outside Toast really seems to understand the rationale behind it, except I think you have to be a UK customer and spend quite a lot/order frequently.

Despite this, I only got made Kindred 18 months ago and that was less than a week after I had finally forked out for a Toast pass. (I then spent the rest of the year grumpy about the chirpy emails inviting me to enjoy my ‘free’ postage 😾)

Some people get invited quite quickly and then get kept on, even if they don’t spend much in following years. Others don’t seem to get invited at all, or get bumped after a year of not spending much.

It’s a great scheme, but I do feel sorry for people who spend lots, but haven’t been invited.

IlovePond · 22/12/2024 18:44

Hope you feel better soon, too @oddandelsewhere 💐
