@Stravaig there is some winter things, annoyingly a jumpsuit I paid full price for and haven’t worn! I bought the Cotton Linen Wrap Jacket | Golden Sand that i keep seeing on Angharad Jones and also the blue drawstring bag which I think will be useful. And the green gathered waist dress. Could be an error.

Stoic123 · 22/12/2024 12:52

The napkin rings on my wishlist were there so trying a few colours. Also trying the Delft Aldi tee, Suki cotton linen trousers and Loopback jersey top in Puck. And a pair of socks as it's traditional - the rib ones in rust.

IlovePond · 22/12/2024 12:52

Hi, I am tempted by - yet more - pjs, but as I only wear the bottoms with the matching nightie, it ends up expensive for me even in the sale. I was hoping some of the brighter coloured pjs and more coats would be on sale, but as it is, I am restraining myself so far.

I like those velvet quilts, but am annoyed by the huge uplift in price recently, plus non-washable. Not an option with DDog!

I have the French bowl in my basket, but I have nowhere to display it, plus it is really heavy. In the unlikely event that it’s further reduced and not sold out, I would probably crack.

This has to be a personal best for me. I have known about the sale for 30minutes and not bought anything😹

Note: You have to be logged into the Toast site to access @Snowyowl78 ’s link. (Thanks for tagging me @Snowyowl78 and @Theteapotsbrokenspout - much appreciated!)

MiracleToast · 22/12/2024 13:11

Incredible restraint @IlovePond 😂 Hope your ‘perfect’ items make their way into the sale soon

faustina · 22/12/2024 13:14

They've already dispatched one of my orders - that has to be a personal best!

ScottishMouse · 22/12/2024 13:16

Thanks for the sale tip off. That has cheered me up as I sit in a hospital bed waiting to be seen having woken up in the middle of the night with severe abdominal
pain.
Despite less than good mobile coverage I have managed to order a basket, some socks, and the onyx stripe linen dress. I really wanted the ikat wrap jacket from last year in a bigger size than the one I own, but it was only in stock in the smallest size.
So fairly restrained, but if I am here all day and all night, I may go back in.

Stravaig · 22/12/2024 13:16

@IlovePond That would be my preferred sleepwear combo too, I love that you circumvent the standard offering to achieve it!

CoubousAndTourmalet · 22/12/2024 13:17

I'm logged in but I cannot access a sale 😢

Countmeout · 22/12/2024 13:24

Hope you are ok @ScottishMouse .

Cranberry sauce safety finished and cooling.

I got the blue poncho to try after seeing one on someone (although theirs was alpaca)
Trying the kick flare jeans .
And the onyx dress.
I didn’t need anything but as usual couldn’t resist. Some will go back.

i can recommend the brown tweed coat. I’ve worn it a lot(summer sale purchase) Feels so enveloping. And huge pockets.

Thanks for the link. I imagine more will be added as the sale goes on.

So sorry to hear this @ScottishMouse Hope you are okay and glad you have the sale to distract you ♥️

MiracleToast · 22/12/2024 13:25

@Countmeout I am eyeing that coat up! What’s sizing like?

CoubousAndTourmalet · 22/12/2024 13:27

Hope you feel better soon @ScottishMouse 💐

Stravaig · 22/12/2024 13:29

Gosh @ScottishMouse I hope they figure out what's happening quickly and you are snug at home soon x

IlovePond · 22/12/2024 13:35

Hope you feel better soon @ScottishMouse 💐

Countmeout · 22/12/2024 13:42

@MiracleToast I would say not quite as generous as some Toast. I ended up keeping the M . It’s quite slouchy and more than room for sweater underneath ( now I’ve finally shed 7lb) My bust is a12, I normally buy S or M in Toast for my top half. I’m upside down.

faustina · 22/12/2024 13:45

@ScottishMouse - I hope they let you out soon, and that you feel better too, obviously, but in the meantime, at least you have nothing you can do other than browse the sale!

MiracleToast · 22/12/2024 13:47

Thank you @Countmeout I was leaning toward trying my upper size so will maybe try it…

OrangeyLemon · 22/12/2024 13:51

Hope you’re soon better and on your way home @ScottishMouse
Thank you for the link @Snowyowl78
The jumper I missed out on last winter and which i thought they had in all sizes hasn’t appeared, nor the dress I bought in the 3 day September sale but needed in a different size. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this sale for ages, but there was nothing I was hoping for apart from a cushion cover! Have managed to buy the kaleidoscope shirt and the indigo jumpsuit too however.. Do we think there might be more additions?

SumAndSubstance · 22/12/2024 13:54

I bought those wool Alix trousers that I feel like I have resisted in several sales, but I do need some new trousers now, and that massive gray cardigan, which I fear could make me look enormous…

Netcam · 22/12/2024 13:56

faustina · 22/12/2024 12:26

@Netcam - only the half sleeve fine alpaca and the ribbed wool knitted cardigans in the sale

Thank you. Will relax and forget about shopping then!

TosstTastic · 22/12/2024 13:57

My order is in!
I need a lightweight jacket, travelling relaxed so have gone for grid check jacket or the denim wrap and the indigo twill shirt.
Have also taken a punt on a poncho, who knows if that will find a place in my life or just wishful thinking.

Anyone tried the Kantha stitch wrapped pinafore? I know it would have suited me in days gone by. Will I rock it in my 50s or will I look like Mrs pepperpot?

TosstTastic · 22/12/2024 13:58

I can vouch for the butternut half sleeve, it's worked well with lots of things.

oddandelsewhere · 22/12/2024 14:00

@ScottishMouse I hope you feel better soon! I am fresh out of hospital after a fairly hideous operation, still feel quite queasy, can't type or spell, am not meant to make decisions but immensely cheered and engrossed by the sale and the sale talk. I only bought the new season French blue flared cord shirt and the black sale padded jacket. It will probably be a bit unflattering but it looked so soft and warm.
Thank you to the kind person who gave the link, I think it was @Snowyowl78 . Very grateful. I was poised logged in!

OftenOrange · 22/12/2024 14:09

@ScottishMouse Sending best wishes , hope you’re home soon and feeling better.

I had been hoping for some nightdresses , but they were all very beige.
Also sorry not to have added to my Toast bedding , I bought a duvet cover and pillowcases a while ago , thanks to the enthusiasm here and the pleasure / spend ratio has been insane!

ScottishMouse · 22/12/2024 14:14

Thanks everyone. I’m feeling rough. Had some tests but o my way home now and need to come back tomorrow for an ultrasound. At least I have a sale parcel to look forward to soon.
