You can get 20% off selfridges beauty kits online if you log in and are a ‘key holder’ which I think just means you have a loyalty card / QR code. The 20% appears after you’ve added to basket

There's no free shipping option though. Not sure what the min spend is for free delivery - maybe £100?

So the cheapest delivery cost takes £6 of the £16 saving making it a £10 reduction unless you are buying more things to get free delivery. Buying in store is a better option if you can get to one.

Edit - Just checked and the threshold is 150 spend for free delivery for first level keyholders

I'm going to be near a Selfridges store today so may well stock up if I can find any of the boxes. Armani AC is also half price, sold out on line but may be some in store.

The woman I was dealing with is off today so it will be tomorrow. I'm being kept informed, which is great.

I really like the staff there to be honest, I hope they last. They have good store size, vs the tiny SpaceNK nearby but SpaceNK are killing it with queues of people waiting outside. They seem to often charge much higher prices in Ireland, for example it is over 10% cheaper to order from BDK and get extra freebies then to buy same perfume in Harvey Nics so I only shop there when they have 15% off.

It's great store, I hope they survive. But they need to sort out Irish pricing and charge similar to other stores.

The pricing is an issue with most UK stores. Some of them really do the dog on it though. Fair enough adding on a bit more than exchange rate due to currency fluctuations, transport etc but I refuse to buy if I feel I am being cheated.

I saw the queues outside SpaceNK at one stage. It didn't even appear that full. I wonder are they trying to create an image of high demand?

I don't think so, it gets really packed and they have to manage crowds. It's small store. There is little bit of Sephora kids element, not present in the one in the city as the local teens storm it. Girls storm the beauty counters in SpaceNk boys Xerjoff in Harvey Nics. I feel sorry for the staff.

Back on topic - we should see the open along treads coming up soon with December being so close!

Best customer service I've had this year was Harrods Beauty in the Metro Centre at Gateshead.

I went with DS intending to go to the newly opened Sephora except there was a roped queue full of tweens and they were letting in about 2 people at a time. We couldn't be bothered with that but discovered there was a much calmer Harrods Beauty store further down with sales assistants who were all great and it had virtually no teens in it despite similar products. Got loads of free samples with purchases too.

Space NK have launched their BF offers - 25% of a variety of products. Nothing is jumping out as amazing but for some brands it might be cheaper than elsewhere.

Tatcha for example are only offering 20% on their own website deals so it would be cheaper to buy from Space NK.

Has anyone ordered the Grüum advent? If so, has it shipped yet? They said they would ship on 22nd but mine hasn't budged yet. I contacted them yesterday and they said my order has been prioritised for delivery but still no sign of it.

@OvaHere did you buy one of the Elemis boxes? I got the day one and it's brilliant. Trying to tell myself I don't need the night one as well
