Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

Lots of offers in Boots today . The ordinary Box . Clinique, and lots of beauty stocking fillers. It ages since I've been in a big Boots and I was actually shocked at the overly attentive staff on each counter . It made it difficult to look , to many hellos , are you ok? Can I help , are you looking for something in particular.
The m and s advent didn't wow me . They had a huge amount instore and out of the 6 people in the queue, none purchased . I asked if they were selling well and she said yes 🤔
My last grumble , I went to look at the flawless foundation at CT and no they don't do samples of that foundation???

I picked up my JL beauty box today and am really pleased with it. I got 15ml of the water cream too which was a bonus. The Bobbi Brown item was smaller than I expected though.

I have started opening my M&S as it is intended for gifts – tho I am keeping the Day 1 item!

@pinkchampagne1 I agree re the Bobbi Brown one – that was a possible gift to someone but it looks a bit mean. Most of the rest is good tho and I am really going to have to keep a lot of it...

I've been using some bits up tonight
A face oil I don't like I've mixed in with foot cream so my feet are looking lovely! And a foaming body wash that's a bit drying I've used as shave gel

I’m trying to resist the manucurist one. I have a 15 percent off code too but I’m dithering

@Caramelandsalt depending where you are you can book a complimentary/cost make up session with Charlotte Tilbury and they will make you up- ironically helped me to decide I didn't want their foundation, it was chalky on my skin. If you pay, you get the money back when you buy products on the day!

I've done it at John Lewis, you can also do it at Selfridges and for other brands too!

That's good to know . I think I just found the staff in Boots ott and then the CT staff abit couldn't care less. I do miss the old department stores .

Oh me too @Caramelandsalt I worked in Debenhams whilst at college and uni and it always felt so welcoming!

Have been pleasantly surprised by Selfridges though, although it depends where you are in the country!

In prep for the new calendars I have tried from the stash the Suqqu serum primer today, lovely texture and my make up went on well.

Apparently my Bridal Beauty Co box is due to be delivered today. Not sure if I’m excited by what might be in there or terrified for the same reason 😳

I had a theory with BB that they didn't post any of the mystery boxes until they sold out . The fact they are posting them now before selling out makes me think they are amazing.
