I'd be slightly wary of that article - the website it's posted on profits from affiliate links and contains sponsored content plus both the author's bio photo and the other photos of 'experts' with quotes underneath are all AI generated. The names of those quoted don't come up in any web searches under dermatology either. The website calls itself School of Dermatology but that is just a website name they have purchased. It doesn't mean of course the information about the various masks is incorrect as such, but it is worth bearing in mind it's a marketing website.

Thanks for the feedback on the lip stuff @mum2three48 - I didn’t know what it was and was in a bit of a hurry. If they have any left next time I’m passing, I’ll get some.

Re: The Caviar @Branster - I actually went in to look for that but no joy. I think people had been buying up the skincare before I could get there 😿

Hopefully the people buying it are intending to use it, not just slamming on eBay like they were doing with the anyways/everyday pan, (which was rereleased as well today!)

I caved and bought Harvey Nicks beauty with the 15% off. Let's see how I get on. If you have two beauty advents are you opening them at the same time or keeping one for Jadvent

I do one in the morning as soon as I wake up and if I have a second, I open as I go to bed in the evening.

I've just purchased the new Bridal Beauty £60 Christmas box (£65 including P&P). I actually ordered the previous £200 box in November, then cancelled when I heard the talk of false reviews etc on here. Was impressed with the contents that people posted though. Hopefully the new box should be worth the £65 outlay. 🤞🤞🤞

I would suggest you check it is ok. I went through the fragrance one yesterday and realised it has been interfered with. Two of the perfumes are half empty. I will be phoning them when they open and hopefully they will be able to resolve. They had another calendar on display so they might be able to send out the perfumes from that. Very disappointing.

My plan is to open this one between christmas and women's christmas as it's only a 12 day.

Few of the perfumes didn't come completely full in this advent, for everyone. For example the sisley. Is this one of the perfumes you are concerned?

Oud elexir looked half empty and portrait of lady was x but full either. On purpose I watched some unboxing and they were all like this for those few perfumes

Verticloud and Irish Leather too. I think some brands don't fill in the bottles too start with, thinking maybe the actual bottle for some is higher they the size advertized but oud elexir was nearly half and hermética also had good chunk missing in thier advent

No. It's the Veronique Gabai and the bdk. There were a few others that weren't completely full but nothing like those two. They are literally half empty. Everything is in the wrong number drawer too and the items in day 12 aren't wrapped in tissue like they are in the unboxings.

Just spotted your post on the oud elixer - yeah, I saw the unboxings and it was quite low. Mine is much lower than in the videos. It's at least half gone whereas the unboxings look like they are about ⅓ down.

The veronique gabai is the oud elexir, it came half empty. If you Google image search for it you will see how many come exactly same size. BDK came with bit of gap, but I have ordered from them directly and they tend to leave but if gap in the bottle. If you check the sisley I suspect you will see but if gap too

They had one on display and those two were definitely not as empty in the display version as I spent a bit of time going through it. I remember the oud elexir because of the cute little pouch.

I checked another video and the BDK is definitely half used. There is a gap alright but if you look at the picture of mine, it's a lot more than a gap. I think my oud elexir has less than in the unboxing too. I'll phone and see what they say.

Oh I am not saying you are not right and on top of gap to start there was further spraying at all, but some came with gaps bigger then I expected. They took mine out of the boxes they arrive in, as they were not officially out and still felt bit disappointed with the gaps. Photos taken when I took them out of the box. Irish leather has a gap too

Yours are clearly used, BDK for sure. Missed your photo. How they sort it out for you as the BDK is my favourite in the advent

@OchonAgusOchonOh this is my perfumes from the advent unused and I have literally just taken the Oud out of its sealed box for comparison

Oud Elexir looks disappointingly empty even unused! It didn't take out of me enjoying the advent but they can to do better

Is this the black Friday one? I'm tempted by it.

Not an advent question, but as you're all beauty fans - does anyone have an under eye concealer that they recommend? I used the Bobbi Brown one for years that came with 3 parts but they've discontinued it. Then was using a Clinique pen which I quite liked but lost it a couple of weeks ago. Thought it would be worth buying a replacement with this weeks' discounts.

Mainly to hide general bagginess and tiredness!
