We still have a few weeks to go but we are up to thread 6.

Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

I wish space nk would release what their BF deals are going to be as I’d rather shop there for the points and with points if they are going to be the same as Sephora for my perfume and cult for my medik8 bits

They may do a % off rather than deals on specific items? In the past they've done £10 off 50/ £20 off £100 type incentives.

I'm more excited for the post Xmas reductions. Had some good bargains then. Just don't expect anything fast as last year they seemed to take ages to process orders in the Jan sales

Branster · 23/11/2024 20:46

LiB AC has indeed been reduced on their tiktok shop, £96. The OK bundles are really good value too.
There will be nothing left to sell on the actual Black Friday day.

@OchonAgusOchonOh now don't forget to pop over to the scent of the day topic when you start trying them and let us know how you get on. I discovered new perfume love in it, already bought full bottle.

Will do 😁 I'm very excited by it. I met some family in Dublin for lunch and decided to swing be Harvey Nicks on a whim so was delighted to find the calendar in stock. It psyched me up for the 3 hour drive home 😁

Edited

@OchonAgusOchonOh and may the joy it brings be exponentially related to the cost.

Latest in beauty is £96 for me at the moment on TT shop , very tempted

BlueLimeRun · 24/11/2024 07:02

LiB £99 online from midnight for those interested who don’t do tik tok.

LiB £99 online from midnight for those interested who don’t do tik tok.

Anyone interested don’t forget Quidco.

IlovePond · 24/11/2024 08:52

Estée Lauder have 25% off ‘almost everything, with code: EARLY

IlovePond · 24/11/2024 08:59

A lot of things I would never ever use in that LiB calendar, but £99 is a good price. I’m wondering why midnight on a Sunday/Monday though, especially when it’s on TikTok already. (Not that I do TikTok!)

Fairyliz · 24/11/2024 09:35

I’ve opened the first door of my LF advent calendar today. Yes I know it’s early but I will give a few bits away as presents.

Just to inform you, nestled at the bottom of the box, hard to see is a voucher for £30 for Foreo, which I know some people were considering. If anyone wants my voucher let me know.

IlovePond · 24/11/2024 16:19

Some brands at Sephora have 25% off, and there are also some deeper discounts via ‘flash sales’.

This weekend only.

There’s also a free beauty bag, (it looks pretty good for free), on purchases £120 and over.

Branster · 22/11/2024 08:38

My inbox is full of 25% and 30% off for Black Friday offers from various online beauty shops/brands. Probably this is the best time of the year to stock up on specific products.
I can't think of any routine products I need so am not opening any of these emails for fear of getting drawn in to 'want' territory.

@OvaHere your Beauty Pie LED masks mention is very good value - for those who missed your post before it got deleted because it had an offer code

Oh @Benny12 Foreo is one of my favourite brands, so had to look. Still expensive isn't it? One to explore next year if I save up. They do a hand LED device! I might wait until someone comes up with some sort of onesie LED suit with integral face mask. If I save enough in 20 years time it will come on the market at the equivalent of £50000 in today's money and by then I'll definitely need something drastic on the repair front. Another thing to take with me to the old people home when they send me there.

Inspired by an older comment (I'm sorry I can't find it to mention the PP's name), I'm thinking, yes, ancient Egyptian burial style would be the thing to do. I should probably start planting the seed in DH's mind that we need a mausoleum for me and my beauty stuff and my will needs changing to reflect my wishes that all this gear is coming with me for the afterlife. My stash would be seriously depleted during my stay at the old people's home because I'm planning on bartering it to get favours from staff, like being allowed to go out for the day and night and meet with my young boyfriend and wild stuff like that. Because obviously I'd be very old but looking amazingly young so there would be no reason not to have a young boyfriend.

Great plan!

virgocatlover · 24/11/2024 17:30

I don't think there are many calendars left now - and those that are left probably won't drop in price much if at all before selling out. However I'm still here for the edits, crackers and beauty gift bargains Smile

OvaHere · 24/11/2024 18:14

Just bought these as Xmas gifts - £24.99 usually £44. They're a nice size at 500ml each and I'll split them between DH and 3 DS's. There's also other men's kits heavily discounted.

At checkout I was also offered the Sea Salt fragrance for £5. The first purchase discount code works with the offers and it's free shipping over £30

Never purchased from here before so I don't know what anything is like but the shower gels seem to have good reviews.

Fenwick’s still have their 12 days of beauty available - wondered what you all thought of it - is it good value?

There’s no way I’d pay £200 for a 12 day calendar.

AprilLady · 24/11/2024 19:28

@Millymollymine I also think the Fenwick’s calendar is pretty poor value compared with others (now mostly sold out unfortunately). If you have an old calendar around that could be refilled, perhaps consider something like this instead:

https://cewuk.co.uk/product/cew-beauty-edit-2024/

19 full size products, and much better value for money.

CEW Beauty Edit 2024 – CEW UK

IlovePond · 24/11/2024 19:42

I agree @Millymollymine - I think that’s why it’s still around - too pricy for a 12 day calendar. One to watch for a reduction methinks…

IlovePond · 24/11/2024 19:51

In Aldi today In SpecialBuys:

Lacura cleansing balm,
Lacura setting spray
Lacura Lip Stick
Lacura Hair Perfume - looked nice - obviously couldn’t sniff it in its packaging

Doubleraspberry · 24/11/2024 20:05

I got the setting spray for DD.

Branster · 24/11/2024 20:54

There's a very good thread started today called:
Those red light masks

I am sorry I don't know how to link to it, it's about LED face masks, I think some of us might find it useful.

Someone posted a link to an article reviewing well regarded masks. A bit of a headache really because the top one is £3000 for face and neck.

Branster · 24/11/2024 21:01

Thank you @AprilLady for the CeW link, they had a fantastic one a couple of years ago, I still regret not buying. This one looks good.
Hearst Magazines usually have some good beauty boxes too.

@IlovePond did they have the gold caviar serum in stock at Aldi? I saw it on the website the other day but haven't had the chance to go near an Aldi store yet. I haven't tried this line.
Also on the website, they showed the serum in a green bottle dupe for LaMer (supposedly). Now, I bought 3 of these when they first came out but I still haven't started using!!! Nonetheless I feel like I want to buy a few more if they actually have them in the shop.

mum2three48 · 24/11/2024 21:01

@IlovePond I bought the setting spray and the lip kit which is a kylie cosmetics dupe. I've tried it today and it lasted a good few hours and I had lots of comments about how lovely it was.
