Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

Do the darker pans work as eyeshadow?

Sorry, I don’t know @Addictedtobeauty - I think it’s a blusher/bronzer/highlighter sort of thing. I am really new to Hourglass and have only bought one eyeshadow and an ambient blush so far.

Hah, yes- me too. I have a palette coming as my Christmas present from DH but have never actually used anything of theirs before. I only knew about it from the talk on here this year!

Yes, they do. In fact one of my pans is described as eyeshadow IIRC.

Not as many BF deals on advents as I hoped. I think this year they have underestimated the interest, as the calendars have got more popular but retailers were probably wary of over stocking.

@IDontHateRainbows I agree no exciting deals by the looks of it this year I think pretty much everything is sold out.
I think as companies have started including more full sizes there are a lot of people me included who just find it more economical to buy the advents for a number of certain items I use and then sell or gift anything surplus to requirements.
Where as in previous years they were just a fun extra for me to open during December now I use advents to literally stock up my skin care for the year and use as stocking fillers/gifts for family

I live in hope of Vogue reducing but not really expecting anything tempting. They don’t even accept 10% discount codes on the advent so can’t see a £100+ reduction occurring!

I don't think so, I think retailers have probably estimated the interest correctly. 2022 was the golden year for advent discounts, but given advents are already 'discounted' (costs £200, worth £1000 for example) I wouldn't really have expected significant deals.

Me too or hoping if they dont sell enough then they get reduced mid-December vut doubt that will happen either!!

Both the perfume and beauty advent are available in Dublin Harvey Nics and 15% off. Surprised they aren't sold out yet.

Last year Harvey Nics 'sold out' online and then mysteriously reappeared after Christmas - reduced to half price in the sale. I wonder whether this was the excess store stock.

Harvey Nichols sold out in the UK though? Would be nice if it does reappear.Perhaps unwanted Xmas presents or someone gifted two ?

I wish space nk would release what their BF deals are going to be as I’d rather shop there for the points and with points if they are going to be the same as Sephora for my perfume and cult for my medik8 bits

I got to do a sniff test on the open ones and liked the ones I tried. I got a bundle of samples too.
