Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

I think it's still in early access for members at the moment (maybe Level 2 and up?). I had an email about it this morning.

SDJ is there, Huda, Natasha Denone, and SR and Laneige.

I have bought the Laneige mini lip balms to try already and my desire for SRiley has been temporarily tempered by the lovely Aldi dupe, (I am off sick today so have plastered myself in that to make me feel better!)

Good reductions on some of the electronic devices that have been discussed on here recently.

@OvaHere @IlovePond Ahh I see, ok thank you. I haven't ordered from them before so I wont have any early access. Probably for the best, I'm getting Black Friday fever and fear of missing out... the next week or so may be detrimental to the bank balance!

You may be lucky and find some knocking around your Aldi. I found mine in Thirsk, but there were none in my local. Sometimes they are in the SpecialBuys aisle, at other times on the Premium/Luxury beauty shelf.

I found one of the DE whipped cream dupes the other day in a damaged box, languishing at the bottom of the rack on SpecialBuys in my local, so things do turn up/reappear.

Asos also have 25% off beauty too, just bought a couple of bits

Medik8 has always been 30% discount in Black Friday week but see they are just 25% this year

I loved several brands in the space NK calendar, I probable should have just bought two calendars to see me through to next years advent threads... or maybe I can convince DH to do some BF shopping for me...

Ok Beauty Advent is £85. I got this as stocking fillers for my Dds and nieces and I thought it was quite good although very stick heavy but definitely worth £85 if anyone is looking for an advent. Quite makeup heavy so might appeal to a younger demographic or nice to share as has some quite nice skincare in there too

Im waiting to see if Mac discount their calendar

@WhatILoved I don't remember it being discounted at MAC last year, it was discounted at John Lewis to £126 I think, but it's exclusive to Selfridges this year and it's sold out there so I'm not sure they will discount at MAC anyway.

I am holding fire on a couple of Hourglass purchases I genuinely want, (but don’t need), in the hope that Sephora or CB reduce their prices on/nearer BF.

I would probably crack and buy another a/c if there was a great bargain.

My best BF beauty bargain was the LF a/c from two years ago that I got for £46 in a few hour window on BF in 2022. (Unbelievably, I then had buyer’s remorse and tried to cancel. They ignored my request- fortunately in this instance 😹it was a great calendar.)

I bought some Ouai shampoo and conditioner I've been wanting to try. I had a £10 points voucher and with the 25% off it made it a good deal.

I think the clear thing is that Hourglass needs to do its own advent next year. I’m going to start putting money aside every month to cover the likely enormous cost if they do decide to do it!

@IlovePond I think you asked about previous Cult Beauty BF deals at some point - They did have 30% off last Black Friday, no idea if it was across all brands though. One year they also changed their offers between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and I think the Cyber Monday offer was 3 for 2, so I used it to buy 3 of the same product I know I'll always use, so worked out at 33% off

Not confirmed but it is reported that LIB will reduce their advent to £99 on Tiktok at midnight tonight . Although I find no logic to Tiktok so who knows but if anyone is interested it may be worth checking out to find out

Got an email from Vogue advising they still have Calendars (even though I unsubscribed). I’m not surprised they’ve not sold out this year!

Yeah I've had 2 emails in 2 days from Vogue trying to tempt me with the advent - I loved their advent last year and regretted not buying it but I'm not interested in this year's at all

Any chance the Dior (£540) advent calendar will be discounted after 1 December? 😭 It's my teenage daughter's dream calendar and I was thinking of giving it as a Christmas gift rather than advent calendar but not at that price 🙈
