Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

@Doubleraspberry yeah I agree ...I always want a bargain in my advent calendar ! sadly I think they were a bit thin on the ground this year ...I bought two early on and then stopped ...I had space nk in my basket for ages and didnt buy it ...I have sooooo many products from previous years (in boxes under the bed, in the wardrobe etc ) that I couldn't justify it ...just waiting to see if flannels reduce their fragrance cracker and that is me ....absolutely !!! completely 100% done
....except for maybe a good gift with purchase ...or black friday deal ...or a 20% off or maybe beauty pie xmas set ....or a deal on vinted ....oh god someone stop me now ....!!!

Harvey Nick's doing 15% off for BF + GWP bit the GWP doesn't look great tbh. If only they did the perfume GWP they did last year which was probably as good as the perfume AC, about 10 decent size samples.

Flannels cracked were 20% off last year, but I think that they've sold out this year?

Just to weigh in on microcurrent vs LED mask, I'd plump for the LED mask myself (owning both). I'm already eyeing up either the CurrentBody or Shark to upgrade my current LED mask. LED mask is less "faffy" to use too, so it's easier to get in a routine IMO. There's a really good skincare device thread on Tattle actually with some very knowledgeable posters.

I had a look last night.

On the plus side unlike the Bridal Box company you can see what you're getting but for the sake of a few bits I would quite like I'll end up with a mountain of stuff I'm not that fussed about (and I already have a sizeable hill of stuff!)

None of it is reduced enough to make my resolve fly out of the window.

There is a list of contents- 19 in total. Quite a few are missing - I don’t expect many people would miss the make up sponges/puffs but I can’t remember what else is not there.

I wonder how these ‘imperfect’ calendars could all have the same stuff missing - maybe supply issues?

Anyway, I don’t think I would buy it at £70 with empty drawers . They’d have been better off marketing it as a beauty box with a few samples added in and repackaging it.

Also on LF, the Armani a/c is reduced to £202, plus there’s a 15ml perfume GWP.

I’m very interested in the LED mask talk - thank you for sharing your knowledge. In Glamour mag Currentbody series 2 comes out top overall. I fancy it for reducing wrinkles and a bit of redness, but can I ask if it means Botox is no longer required?
I’m not horribly vain but just want to remain looking fresh and limit wrinkles.

Oh thanks for the info about the imperfect LF calendar. I bought it for £70 and didn’t read the details! So there are 19 instead of 24 items then.

I notice Dennis Gross has a new one , it's red and very Iron Man .. comes in a set with products. Am unsure if it's an upgrade or just a new design as it's a bit unclear

I'm not sure anything can beat Botox so if it's that you're looking for you are sure to be disappointed I'm afraid .

I have a small amount of Botox and filler but I am 49 and as I said very vain / tbh it's more self critical .

so it’s missing g 36% of its original value and only discounted 30%- that’s a truly terrible deal. I’d expect an increased discount due to the incomplete calendar, not a premium added!

Amazon have the Lynx Advent calendar for £34 down from £60.

Amazon also have 100ml of the Murad youth renewal serum for £32.30 down from £92. You can get it for just over £29 with S&S. I must resist…I do not need any more serums!

Sorry it appears it is for a 30ml bottle, not 100ml - I thought that was a bit too good to be true! Still a bargain price though

I remember the hugely discounted Ciate nail varnish one last year. That was fab! I don't need another 24 colours, but something similar - eyeliner? Shadow? - would be lovely!!
