@ememem84 i hope your treatment is going well.

Few more from me:

Sunday Riley vit C rich hydration cream. I love this. Can often get with 20% off making it £48. My dry skin loves it.
Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base, I quite like it.
Fresh light it up cream, absolutely useless. Think was in an M&S beauty bag.
Redken all in one treatment. I think it was good. Hard to know what’s working as change my shampoo too. Hair does seem to have less breakage.

30/80

Hello everyone,
My eldest has introduced me to 'project pan' and after googling all about it I fell into this thread 😍
Would love to join in and have a nosey at what everyone else is using beauty / skincare wise!
Do you all post a pic at the end of the month with what you have finished? I've finished two products already since the beginning of May.
Have a great day xx

It's a bit more casual than than that. I tend to post things when I get round to it - so sometimes a lot in one go and other times one or two items.

Some of us have counted their items to use up and give a running tally. Not me because I daren't add it all up! 😂

More empties!

  1. Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Body Cream - this was lovely. Very moisturising without being heavy or greasy, lovely scent, and lasted ages.

  2. Christophe Robin Scalp Scrub - I know it’s not popular on here but I really like this stuff. Gives my hair body and leaves it feeling really clean.

  3. Chantecaille SPF primer - horrible stuff. Supposedly ‘oil free’ but somehow still manages to be extremely greasy. Glad to see the back of it.

  4. Original Source Lemongrass and Sweet Orange Body Wash - another product that I’m glad to see the end of. Didn’t like the scent.

Still haven’t bought any beauty products yet this year. I think that I have plenty of everything to last me the year!

@MidnightMeltdown

I've had a couple of Christophe Robin mask minis and they have been nice.

Experiment627 · 08/05/2025 14:58

@ememem84 that sounds tough 😭

Welcome @pixi1984 - we are very relaxed on this thread... and some of us have been on it for circa 10 years 🙈 TBH my stash is so much better than it used to be & I really appreciate the reviews on the thread - as well as the boost I still get from reporting my empties.

I have an empty to report:

  • Wild mini deodorant jasmine & mandarin blossom: smell a bit too sweet for my liking but the actual deodorant is fab - no irritation and covers my BO very well. The mini size is very handy for travel as well as a way of seeing if this works for you before you invest in the refillable container.

@OvaHereyes I’ve tried one of the masks and I rate that too! It’s one of the few hair care brands that I find to be worth the spend.

ITookYourJoob · 08/05/2025 15:54

Max factor brow pencil - very fine, loved it, but doesn’t last unfortunately.

Maybelline lash conditioner - nice but didn’t really do anything.

Peter Thomas Roth Instant firm - very odd product. It does work, but tightens skin too much, almost like a mask.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 08/05/2025 21:06

Ultrasun facial spf50 50ml, this is quite greasy and made me break out, would not repurchase.

Choux · 08/05/2025 21:33

Oh @ITookYourJoob I had no idea products like that eye tightener existed! I have just been on the Peter Thomas Roth website and now I want to try the face and eye tighteners!

Pickled21 · 09/05/2025 01:16

@Choux my dh uses it and we have noticed a visible difference to his undereyes which are a lot less puffy.

ITookYourJoob · 09/05/2025 07:43

@Choux I think it went viral some time ago. It does feel odd though, like a cellotape on face 😅 I didn’t enjoy the feeling; but as @Pickled21 said, it does make a visible difference.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 09/05/2025 08:19

How long does it last? I assume it just works for a bit and you have to reuse every day rather than creating permeant effects?

Choux · 09/05/2025 08:41

@LivingDeadGirlUKaccording to the website it lasts for several hours / a day so seems good for special occasions and hangovers.

I think it’s an American company and am going to the US in the summer so I am going to buy some while there to try it out. It should cost less in the US. I am in my 50s and recently lost 50+ lbs (yes, Mounjaro) so feel everything looks a bit saggier than before!

Pickled21 · 09/05/2025 08:53

@LivingDeadGirlUK it's temporary so dh does use it everyday. I tried it once but didn't like the texture of it. I'm also more prone to dark circles rather than puffiness so it wasn't the right product for me.

CorneliaStreet · 09/05/2025 17:45

Some empties:

The Ordinary glycolipid cream cleanser - 150ml. Good, gentle, everyday cleanser. I think I paid £3 something for this and it has lasted for months, so definitely good value.

Clarins Double Serum - 3 little sample vials. Very moisturing, maybe too much so if I were to use it every day (I’ve got normal/combo/slightly dry skin, depending on the day). I think it would be great for someone with really dry skin.

Patchology Restoring Night eye gels. Kept slipping down, but otherwise fine. Not a big fan of eye gels or sheet masks.

Sunday Riley CEO rich hydration cream - 15g. Too heavy for my skin. Had to use it in the evening, which feels wrong for a Vitamin C cream. Currently using the serum version and much prefer that.

Jumiso Snail Mucin 88 & Peptide cream - 30ml. Properly stringy and snail-y (similar texture to the Cosrx all in one snail cream). Grossed me out a bit putting it on but it did make my skin feel amazing.

Noughty Back to Balance shampoo - 250ml. Really good, got my roots clean and left my hair really soft.

Ciroa Manuka honey & macadamia body scrub - 600g. Too gentle, didn’t feel like it was exfoliating at all. Smelled good though.

Lush Cherry Pop shower gel - 115g. Loved this scent. Also entertainingly changed colour from dark green in the bottle to red when you poured it out!

Soap & Glory Cherry Wild body lotion - 250ml. Fine. Lotion formula was ok and scent was nice, but nothing special.

Lush Grass body lotion - 100g. Smelled exactly like freshly cut grass. Lush are very literal sometimes.

Skandinavisk Fjord hand cream - 30ml. Great hand cream formula. Smelled very fruity, which wasn’t what I was expecting from the name, but nice enough.

some more little bits:

Lancome toner and lotion - enjoyed using them but they really are not necessary.Would love to receive them as gifts again though.

Lancome peptide cream - love this. My second jar. I have noticed all peptide creams I’ve used agree with me. I don’t even know what peptides are, but they do something😁

Estee Lauder Daywear- love the fresh smell. I actually liked using it in the hotter days and already have another one. Very light, minimal coverage, moisturises well.

OvaHere · 10/05/2025 18:43

@ITookYourJoob

I have 15ml of that Lancome peptide cream to try. I was wondering if it was nice.

ITookYourJoob · 10/05/2025 18:53

@OvaHere I personally see the difference. I haven’t had a single spot or any other skin problem while using it. And it feels nice on. I also liked the Drunk Elephant peptide cream, but this one is more moisturising imho.

pixi1984 · 10/05/2025 23:09

Recent empties Update ☺️

Dr Botanicals moisturiser - lovely light moisturiser with a fresh smell. Would buy again.

Aveeno moisturiser - bought for my daughter, but she decided to stop using it. Ive been working my way through it by using it on my hands and arms.

Bodyshop Hemp hand cream - this is years old and been sat in the kitchen drawer. Can finally pan it! Very thick cream but hands feel lovely

Aurelia Face Oil - feels nice on skin and probably would buy again

Bodyshop Rose body yoghurt - these are a favourite! They smell lovely.

feels good to finally pan so,e items that have been on the shelf a while, but I wasn’t very good with willpower and I have ordered a couple of ok beauty boxes this week. Oops

maybeline mascara used up.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 11/05/2025 18:47

I've finished a little tube of the Philip Kinglsey elastasizer, but its not the standard one where you have to faff about leaving it i for 20 mins before you shampoo, its the one that you use as a conditioner. I like it, does make my hair feel really nice.

Have one of the regular ones sat in the bathroom its going to take forever for the stars to align for me to use it.
