Clarins total eye lift finished - I LOVE this. Have another in the stash.

toner finished. Bought a full size at duty free on way out of jersey to London. Then ordered a refil from Sephora (400ml) for less than the cost of the duty free one - with my Sephora points etc. had to buy the one in duty free to use while I was away!

clarins 15ml hydra quench cream finished. So nice!

Clarins mascara - travel mini used up.

almost finished a beauty flash balm (I used to hate this because of the smell but I think they’ve changed the formula). It’ll come to London with me again next week and hopefully not come home!

and a listening mini mouthwash. Used up.

ploughing through my stash. One day at a time….

Good work on all the travel sizes @ememem84. Hope your treatment is going well and you are feeling ok.

My latest empties:

Byoma milky moisture cleanser - 175ml. Really good. Has taken months to use up though and I was a bit bored with it by the end.

Nacific Phyto Niacin essence - 20ml. Prefer something a bit more hydrating.

Beauty of Joseon Calming serum - 30ml. Love this, one of my favourites. Feels so cooling and soothing.

Sunday Riley Auto Correct eye cream - 3ml. Just a little sample but it still lasted quite a while. Liked it, nice consistency cream.

Aromatherapy Associates overnight repair mask - 100ml. This was really thick and heavily fragranced so I used it on my chest and neck rather than my face. Worked really well for that, moisturised well without breaking me out and smelled gorgeous.

Burt’s Bees pineapple lip balm.

Perfume samples - Fresh Lily Jasmine, Acqua di Parma Luce di Rosa and Tocca Guilietta. All pretty, fairly light florals. Particularly liked the Tocca.

Organic Shop cherry & lime body scrub - 250ml. Smelled amazing in the pot but weirdly not of much when actually using it.

Bath & Body Works Fresh Vanilla Blossoms shower gel - 295ml. B&BW shower gels are really good, they foam up well but are non-stripping. The scent of this one was a bit generic, but nice enough.

L’Occitane Amande hand cream - 30ml. Smelled great and seemed to moisture well when I put it on, but my hands felt dry again five minutes later.

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream - 75ml. It’s a good product, but way too expensive for a body lotion.

37/100

Acqua di palma perfume sample - gorgeous green tangerine scent
Revolution lip sleeping mask - caramel lip balm, fine but nothing remarkable
Sunday Riley luna sleeping oil - I like oils and I liked this, gentle and a noticeable difference on my skin texture and clarity. I rubbed in as instructed but still woke up to a blue/green pillow case

Choux · 27/04/2025 11:30

@wheresmyshoei just noticed this morning that my white duvet cover is tinged blue green at the top after a few days of snuggling down while wearing Luna!

wheresmyshoe · 27/04/2025 11:46

I spent ages rubbing it in, @Choux but still woke up to it. Good news is that it washed out but I swopped to an older pillowcase whilst I was using it!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 27/04/2025 18:10

I've finished a Boots No7 radiance exfoliating cleanser. Really like this its up there with the soap and glory vit c cleanser. Really makes your face feel fresh.

Also an Apothecary revive cleansing balm, not hugely keen on this tbh. Doesn't work great on my mascara.

ememem84 · 27/04/2025 19:25

Just finished a child’s farm blackberry bubble bath. Kids were pissing me off and not listening to me. So I’ve come and locked myself in the bathroom for a bath.

packed up my case again for the week (4 days this time). Taking a half used up Clarins bath/shower gel (100ml) so should be able to finish this.

also want to finish a Laura mercier eyeshadow stick. It’s almost there.

I haven’t bought many products this year at all. I’m feeling rather smug about this.

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 27/04/2025 22:58

Finished some things:

2 packets of Huggies wipes.

1 hotel mini by Mason and miller. I am almost done with them.

1 HUGE 5litre bottle of hand wash. Cussons white . I bought ages ago and use it to refill hand wash at home. A took a break and used some other brands for a while but I am ready to resume this monster bottles.

Garnier Cherry shampoo. Smells delicious.

Sanex shower gel. Does the job.

imperial leather gel. Was lovely. Can’t remember the name though. Neroli?

Rituals garden hand wash . For my birthday last year. Very green and herbal I loved it. Would rp.

Nivea aftershave balm or something similar to that. My DH used it. He has other products to use up before rp.

I've finished a Cath Kidson apple blossom handcream, it was nice really liked the smell. I've got a ton of other hand creams to work though most from Christmas but I'm ok with that, should run them down by next Christmas!

Choux · 28/04/2025 17:42

Hands up who has recently bought their own hand cream??? Inbetween gifts in Christmas and birthday sets, advent calendars and free samples I haven’t been able to choose my own handcream in about 5 years.

God yeah. I currently have a Grüum one on my desk and love it as it's not at all greasy and sinks in quickly but I have at least 5 years worth left in back up so won't be buying another.

I have but I am very picky about hand creams. Like everyone else I've accumulated loads but most I either sell on Vinted or package up and send to my sister if I know I won't like them.

ememem84 · 29/04/2025 08:37

finished a facial sunscreen today. Didn’t love it but it was small enough to fit in my travel bag. So it’s gone.

laura mercier eye stick in a lovely golden bronze colour has been binned. I had a bit left but it snapped. So that’s me with no eye colour for the next 2 days.

ITookYourJoob · 29/04/2025 14:18

@Choux Just bought myself Rituals hand cream that was reviewed on here. No one gifts me hand creams 🥲😁

Buster27 · 29/04/2025 21:05

@chouxI dream of the day I can pick my own handcream 😂

Empties:
Dermatica Tret - was previously on adaplene, which worked great for me but I'm seeing more improvement from tret. Also much cheaper at the moment as I've gone from using adaplene 6 nights a week to tret 2-3 times (was alternating between 2 and 3 nights initially, the last month I've gone up to 3 nights consistently). So a tube is lasting me ages now and I've actually paused my subscription as have another 2 sitting waiting already!

Beauty Pie hot oil double cleansing balm - love this (although prefer their cleansing butter). No longer a member so won't be rebuying either though, looking forward to finding a new favourite.

Beauty Pie plantastic facial oil - this was a GWP, sat in my stash for ages because I've not previously been keen on facial oils. Ended up really enjoying this, used on my non tret nights and felt really nice. As above won't rebuy again, but maybe one from a different brand.

Beauty Pie Super Luminous Skin Genius - loved this, a light skin tint that just gave me a bit of glow. I have one more in my stash, then will have to find a replacement from another brand.

Beauty Pie pure ceramides eye serum - liked this, not sure it did much (feel like this about all eye serums/creams 😂) but I liked the rollerball and found it refreshing in the mornings.

clarjns shower gel finished
Clarins travel size mini mascara finished
simple face wipes gone
Kate somerville cream used up.

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 01/05/2025 00:23

Kingfisher fennel toothpaste. Thanks @Experiment627 for the recommendation. It is brilliant.

Experiment627 · 01/05/2025 11:52

So glad you like it @Thereislightattheendofthetunnel 💜

I have an empty to report:

  • Dove 1 minute intensive repair treatment (for hair): really loved this and so inexpensive compared to similar products out there.

Been meaning to add these for a while. I've been really lax at sending stuff to Recycle Me too. I have a not insignificant box of empties built up.

Numbuzin No 9 Nad+ mask - really liked this. Good for dry skin. Bought some more.

Dr Jart Ceramidin mask - another lovely mask for dry skin, will buy again at some point.

Dieux Instant Angel sample - Like this a lot. Great cream for dry skin. I ordered a full size direct from the brand in the US because it's not readily available here. The sample came with it. I'm saving the big tube for the autumn/winter. I probably wouldn't order it again as shipping and taxes made it expensive and it it took a long time to arrive. I'm hopeful Sephora UK, SpaceNK etc. will pick it up at some point.

Banila co Clean Zero cleansing balm sample- took this on a night away. I have a full size jar open. Not my very favourite balm but my favourite of the cheaper ones so far.

Suqqu Aquafons Lotion travel size - Love this stuff, think this is my 4th mini bottle since getting in the Beauty Drop last year. Just bought 2 more on Vinted.

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Hand Cream - got this in a GWP and absolutely adore it. The smell is divine and the texture beautiful. The downside is the price £28 and the fact I went through it in record time. My last hand cream, Rituals Sakura, lasted much longer and is about half the price.

Moroccanoil hair oil mini - Quite nice but not my favourite. I'm using one at the min that is thinner in texture which I prefer.

Dr Jart Cicapair cleanser - I didn't think this was particularly special when I started using it but now it's done I quite miss it. Would RP if I ever get through my stash of cleansers.

Round Lab Dokdo cleanser sample - took this on a night away. It's not for me. Found it too drying for my skin.

SK-II Cleanser mini - really like this one too. The fragrance took a bit of getting used to (parma violet ish) but my skin loved it. Like the Dr Jart it's not at all drying or stripping and helps my ruddy complexion a bit. It's very expensive for a full size (about £70) but you can buy the minis on Stylevana etc quite cheaply. Recently saw them at £11 for 2. When I next place an order on a k beauty site I might add a couple.

Estee Lauder ANR eye cream - My favourite evening eye cream for a while. Have RP a new one.

SDJ Bum Bum cream - It's fine. I'll keep using them as they come my way as gwp etc. Don't think I'd actually buy it.

OvaHere · 01/05/2025 22:52

Missed one off the photo.

1ml sachet of 111Skin Black Diamond eye cream - sadly I really liked this. I got about 3 uses from the sachet. I do not like the price so won't be buying it.

ememem84 · 02/05/2025 15:37

In an effort to make more space I’ve ordered two empty eyeshadow pallets with magnets. I’m going to take the pans from the huge bulky boxes ones I have and pop them in this. So this should give me more space.

OchonAgusOchonOh · 02/05/2025 16:47

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - I like this. Love the smell and it does the job.
Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner - loved this. Still have a few others in the stash but would RP
Aveda botanical repair. My last one. Meh.
Byoma moisturising rich cream. A bit light weight but fine when I add a drop or two of oil.
Hawthorn hand balm - love it. I have another full-size one on the go.

Also a sheet mask and eye mask.

Total for the year: 26/100

@OchonAgusOchonOh

I have that Cosrx toner in my stash. I've got a quarter of my current one left then am planning to use that next as I keep reading good things about it.

What specifically do you rate it for?

It feels really nourishing and soothing. I have convinced myself my skin looks better on it😀
