I thought the liberty one was great. The only reason I didn't get it was the insane brexit tax.

Most posters here preferred the Space NK one, which held no appeal to me. It's really subjective.

I saw the £60 Rituals at Bicester, it's gorgeous. Sadly I was on the train working around the country all week and couldn't face dragging it about with me.

I actually prefer this year’s Liberty to last year. 30ml of SR good genes, a good selection of perfume and the MZ skin eye cream which is the one MZ Skin product I really rate. Also really like the Agent Nateur holi oil. And some nice make-up. I’m sure anyone receiving it as a present will get a lot of pleasure from it.

Don't feel bad it's still a lovely calendar. We all have different ideas of what 'great' is when it comes to products.

One of my favourite things I've picked up in a calendar this year are those towelling wristbands to stop water/product drips- genuinely so useful and I wouldn't object to a few pairs but I know a lot of people inwardly groan at those sort of items in a calendar.

@Caramelandsalt and @EachandEveryone I think the Liberty advent is beautiful. You will love opening it Caramel and your sister will be thrilled Each and Everyone. (I would love someone to gift me it, that would be absolutely amazing)
Don't doubt your decision I can guarantee you and your family will have a special December opening it (and don't forget the liberty calendar opening thread which runs on here which will add to the enjoyment of each door discussing the contents)

@Caramelandsalt I had Liberty last year for the first time, and reviews were quite negative but I loved it. It’s a really beautiful calendar and it’s amazing how quickly the items pass the cost of the calendar. It’s a real treat and so Christmassy

It’s not a bad calendar and there are lots of nice things in there I personally like more skincare but that’s personal preference

Was it the CEO glow oil that you were all saying was really good ? I looked on Vinted to try and get a wee one to try in case my skin reacts ( peri meno has triggered peri oral dermatitis 🙃)

There seemed to be an oil and a cream both orange bottles both saying CEO ?

Also I think good genes was mentioned , would you use both together? Am pm ?

It was Good Genes people were talking about. That's an exfoliant type product I think most people would use once or twice a week but probably not everyday (I could be wrong about that)

I have CEO Afterglow (the orange Vit C cream) and I love that on a morning as a brightening product. I've not tried the CEO oil but that also gets highly rated.

@OvaHere thank you very much, just what I needed. I now have a night cream and day cream in travel size and haven't spoilt the surprises

I'm sure that you'll enjoy Liberty if you've not had the products before, it's just that there are a lot of repeats for people who have been buying calendars for a few years. Personally, I've had at least half of the products before. This is not to say that they aren't good products, just that for me, it's not as exciting, but if you're new to calendars then you'll no doubt enjoy it.

She’s never had a luxe calendar and she didn’t have to pay for it? She’s going to love it! It’s a beautiful thing that’ll make her happy just looking at it.
